“Can't wait until next tears vaca”
We were happy and the kids enjoyed their stay. That's all that mattered. Staff were friendly and facility was clean.
“Great stay!”
It took a bit of work to find the hotel...street not in GPS as it has been renamed. But a quick call to the hotel and we were given excellent directions. Pool is a bit small but any kids will LOVE the waterslide.
“Met Requirements, Short Stay”
Unfortunately I cannot tell you how all of the Rodd Royalty's services stack up, but what I can share is what I experienced in my short stay. The Room: -Clean, well stocked (towels, coffee, extra pillows, etc) -High ceiling was a nice touch. -Beds were too stiff, but not uncomfortable. -The view was undesireable -Buttons on remote to television did not seem to function well, however, it was little used. Reception: -Staff were courtious but a little forgetful and unknowledgeable. Three staff members congregated to answer questions and to assign my room from the itinerary I printed from expedia.ca -While serving me staff forgot about a customer they placed on hold. I reminded them after several minutes, but I sure wouldn't want to be the person on the other end. I had a one night stay in Charelottetown. If I returned I would possibly stay at the Rodd Royalty Inn again, however if given the choice I think I would try another hotel with a comparable rate to find a different experience.
“Just be careful where your room is located!!”
We had a great stay at this hotel, it is centrally located, easy to get to, and clean (which is most important to us). The only issue we had was with the location of our room, which they should offer at a discounted rate and save for guests to use only if there are no other rooms available. Our room was located 2 steps from the elevator and the utility room, the walls are very thin so noise in the halls is easy to hear. This hotel needs to be more aware of noise levels of parties being held or teams coming and going. If you need a solid sleep, maybe this isn't the best place for you...or, just ask for the room farthest from the elevator!!
“Would take the family there again”
I booked this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool for our boys, which was a good size. It has a water slide which wasn't opened but our boys are still young so that wasn't a concern for me. May want to check with the hotel to see when they have it opened if anyone else is booking for that reason. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
“Currently under needed renovations.”
Our first night was forgettable in a dated but soon to be renovated room but the staff gave us a great room for our second night so we left with a smile of satisfaction.
“Charming Hotel”
It's a charming hotel located in the suburbs of Charlottetown. Nice people, nice room and nice meal.
“So-so”
The room was ok, a bit cramped. Air conditioner didn't work very well to keep room cool. No snack machines in hotel, just drink machines. Room smelled VERY musty!
“Hotel Overcharged”
Booked the first night throught Expedia, we were pleased with the hotel and decided to stay another 2 nights. At the time we were told same price, but when the bill came it was a different story..we had to pay full price and there was nothing they could do. Feeling Ripped Off.
“Good Average Accomodation”
Stay in the main building, not the Motel part as we found it to have mouldy odor and requested to be moved to the main building which was quite good. Good breakfast and other amenities. Shopping and downtown are close by , no complaints
