“The Perfect Place”
The place is beautiful, the cleanliness is very good, it's located in the heart of the center. The only bad thing is that the buffet for the breakfast is not too varied.

you can hardly expect the service i received for the price i paid! personelle are extremely friendly and ready to help at any moment. the food is incredible and the prices terribly low! i know camino real will be my secure destination in my upcoming trips to pebla!
“Colonial Charm”
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The courtyard was a great place to hang out and have a drink or a meal. Stayed in a standard room - the bed was decent and the room clean (but not as charming as the hotel photos appear). Great central location.
“Comfortable stay in an incredibly beautiful location”
This is my third stay at El Camino Real. It is true that the rooms are in need of a facelift, but because of the location in the Centro Historico and the beauty of the converted monastery, it is easy for me to overlook that. The staff was efficient, helpful and friendly.
“An excellent place to stay and dine in Puebla-- First class”
The facility was beautiful and strategically located for the sites. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional at all times. What more could you want? A first class house.
“Beautiful hacienda setting”
Main building has large rooms with very high ceilings, pretty tile bathrooms, nice furnishings, rooms on patios. Adjoining building has rooms that are pleasant but not as roomy.
“Stunning”
El Camino Real Puebla stays true to the Camino Real name. It had brilliant vistas, stunning rooms and luxurious service. Plus I liked how central it was to everything.
“Puebla Hotel Real Bargain”
Stayed here in September 2009. Thanks to an e-mail coupon from Expedia.com I received 50% off the regular rate, so the room was a steal. That said we had to pay to use the coffee maker in the room. But I suspect the hotel was attempting to claw back a bit lost of the rate for the room. The room was small, but a very nice place to stay. Reasonable to good service. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, though look for bargain rates online.
“Lots of character and comfort”
We had the most intriguing suite with a balcony from the bedroom area overlooking what looked like a small ballroom complete with remains of what were probably original murals and French empire furniture. Hotel is former convent with lots of charm and lovely public spaces. Definitely recommended.
