“Great spot to stay in PUEBLO”

We used this as a quick weekend getaway with the kids. Let the kids swim in the pool until they wanted to get out (hours and hours of play). Room was nice, updated, and clean. Bed was very comfortable...

“The hotel was excellant!”

The hotel had was great. The location was easy to find. The food was great. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel staff was very nice. I can't stress enough how important it is for the front desk person to greet customers with a friendly smile. Everyone we encountered was smiling, helpful, and doing a fantastic job. The room was great! That was the most comfortable hotel bed I had ever slept in.

It was great we arrived late everything was ready our rooms were cool not stuffy. The pool was a nice change from the heat. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were nice and relaxing. The desk staff was great at suggesting good local places to eat.

“Thoughtful Staff”

This hotel has a very attractive lobby, and the front desk employees were thoughtful and helpful. Our room was just as we expected - attractive and quiet. The bathroom floor wasn't mopped, and that was a little gross, but otherwise the room was clean. I assume this was a one-time oversight. The free breakfast was ample. The neighborhood wasn't terrific, but it wasn't terrible, either, and it's right off the highway, so it's convenient.

“pleasent stay”

The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and appealing, the bed was a little hard for me, but my other family member thought it was fine. Breakfast had a good healthy variety. I would stay there again. Kids enjoyed the pool. Overall is was a nice hotel and clean and would stay again.

“Pueblo Hampton Inn and Suites”

Reserve the King Suite or larger....pool nice but small. Bathroom plumbing somewhat antiquated with old shower heads. Kitchen sparsely stocked....some of everything but not an abundance of anything. Minimal restaurants within proximity... only subway, taco bell and pizza hut Adequate and clean for 1 or 2 days. Would not want to stay for a week. Would entertain downtown Pueblo for longer stays.

“Problems”

It started when I walked up to the front desk - it was pretty obvious that the woman at the front could care less about customer service and was just waiting to get out of there ( which she did after I checked in)! The bed was uncomfortable ( my feet were higher than my head - a big problem if you wanted to lie down and watch tv!). And the shower didn't work properly. It had one of those buttons you pull up to make the water come out of the shower head, not the tub faucet. After pulling on it, there was more water coming from the tub faucet than the shower! Try rinsing out shampoo! The final blow was that EVERY soda machine in the building had an " out of order" sign on them AND there wasn't a regular, fully sugared, caffeinated soda to be had ( think regular pepsi or coke). When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk (guess who that was!), all I got was a blank stare and directions to the closest convenience store...
