Rooms
The Fiesta Americana - Puerto Vallarta offers 291 guestrooms in a 9-story building. Balconies are furnished with two padded chairs. Rooms feature a contemporary decor with cream-colored walls and ceiling, tan-marble floors and bathrooms, white and emerald-green bedding including multiple pillows, and walnut-colored furniture.
Top-floor Fiesta Club rooms with panoramic ocean views feature high ceilings, bathrobes, and dressing areas and include access to an exclusive lounge where complimentary Continental breakfasts, evening appetizers, and wine are served daily.

Chulavista - Multi-level, open-air, thatched-roof restaurant serving buffet and à la carte breakfasts and à la carte lunch featuring Mexican fare.
La Hacienda - Air-conditioned fine-dining restaurant with pool-view terrace seating, also. Grand-hacienda ambience of period paintings and pottery, dark-wood trim. International menu featuring Mexican specialties. Open for dinner only. Reservations required. Dress code: Long pants or dress shorts, sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes.
Restaurant L´Isola - Italian cuisine with menu service around the pool. Open for dinner from late afternoon to late evening.
Sunset Snack Bar - Casual, open-air spot with thatched roof. Open all day for tropical drinks, burgers, hot dogs, nachos, tacos, sandwiches, burritos, and quesadillas.
Bikini Bar - Pool bar with swim-up side. Open mid-morning to late night.
Lobby Bar - Open late afternoon to late night. Live music Thursday-Saturday during busy seasons.
Recreation
A heated, 53.25-meter-long (175-foot) free-form pool with swim-up bar and jetted section flows into a separate 9-by-3-meter (30-by-10-foot) children's pool. A water-sports desk rents kayaks and boogie boards and arranges scuba diving and snorkeling instruction and excursions. Independent operators offer rentals for personal watercraft, parasailing, banana boating, and horseback riding on the beach.

“Great choice with special deal”
Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Good restaurants. Good price when purchased at special price.
“A truly lovely property”
This is a wonderful hotel-we just spent one week here. It is very well kept and immaculate, and the staff, many who have been here for lots of years, are friendly and accommodating. The food rates high with us, and there is a spa where you can receive a great massage either on the beach or inside. They also have a gym. The beach and pool areas are beautiful, and yes again very clean and well tended with lots of plants and palm trees and birds. I noticed that they recycle plastic bottles and cans. I love this hotel, and after having been here several times and never a dip in service, we will go back again. All rooms have an ocean view, for the best views stay on 5th floor and higher. All rooms have a balcony--what a pleasure to see and hear the ocean with a cup of coffee on your balcony--ahhh. The 9th floor has a continental breakfast, wine and appetizers in late afternoon, and a staff person on the floor.
“SCUBA at Fiesta”
I obtained my open water SCUBA training and really enjoyed diving Los Arcos. Chico's Dive Shop was accommodating and professional and my instructor Daniel Sierra, could not have beenbetter.
“Great 5 night stay!”
We enjoyed our 5 night stay. We had a king room with a view of the pool, partial view of the ocean and view of the town. The only thing we would have asked for differently was a room on a higher floor. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear music and a thumping beat in to the early hours. Also, the food could have been better. Still and all, it was a terrific time. We would stay here again.
“Best staff and service!”
Fiesta Americana is my favorite hotel in Puerto Vallarta and this past trip in April 2012 just proved it once again!! 2 weeks prior to our vacation my boyfriend ruptured his Achilles tendon and had to have surgery and was unable to walk. We arrived at the hotel with him in a wheelchair and the staff in all area's bent over backwards to help us and accomodate our special needs. I couldn't have asked for better service. The entire staff went out of their way to to help every time we needed to go up or down a ramp - from the pool to the front lobby. Even those that worked for the Vacation club would help us up and down the ramps. As for those that mentioned the vacation club workers "bothering them" on other reviews - we did not have any issues with them confronting us even one time though they helped us all week long. I have stayed at Fiesta probably 10 times in the past 7 years and it will always be my favorite hotel in PV. Always clean, always friendly, always a wonderful experience!! I will return again and again. I also love that it's close to downtown - just a short cab ride away. Fiesta is also not a "spring break" party hotel - which elevates it to a higher standard!
“Christmas 2011”
Took my sister and nephew for a well-deserved Christmas vacation to Puerto Vallarta and stayed at the Fiesta Americana. First class operation with comfortable rooms with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Banderas Bay. Highly trained and friendly staff made our stay a pleasure. If this is any indication of how the Fiesta Americana group treats its guests I will surely return.

The hotel is an older property yet very well maintained. 4 elevators service the hotel guests so no one has to wait long. When making your reservation, make sure to get a room on one of the upper levels (4 or higher) so that you can have a more private balcony and an awesome view.
“The Best Overall Resort & Hotel”
I am a repeat customer of Fiesta Americana for 7 different visits & feel that it is THE BEST overall PVR resort for location, view, service, food, beverages, overall facility. The staff is friendly, professional & takes excellent care of the guests. Those staff members who took especially good care of us on this particular trip included Gumercindo & Gabriel & Miguel @ The Chulivista Restaurant; Patricia Sanchez, Ramon, Rafael, & Ignacio at The Sunset Bar, & Hector & Gustavo at the Concierge desk. All will have a pleasant experience at this resort hotel.
