The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at Riu Palace Punta Cana are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities.
The Riu Palace Punta Cana is situated on a white-sand beach in the Riu Resorts Complex, along with four other Riu properties. Guests have exchange privileges at the nearby Riu Palace Macao, Riu Bambu, Riu Taino, and Riu Naiboa (theme dinner restaurants excluded).
All-inclusive amenities include a pool with swim-up bar, a children's pool, a kids club for ages 4-12, two lighted tennis courts, a fitness center with sauna and spa tub, and non-motorized water-sports equipment. Waiter service is included at the pool and on the beach. Admission to Pacha Disco RIU is included, excluding beverage purchases and special shows. Dining options include seven restaurants and numerous bars, including a 24-hour sports bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day, and wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby.
Guests also have access to the discotheque and casino on Caribbean Street, within the resort complex. Craft shops maintained by outside vendors also line the street.

Riu Palace Punta Cana has 612 guestrooms located on five floors. All rooms offer air conditioning and ceiling fans, balconies or patios, jetted tubs, TVs with US stations, hair dryers, in-room safes, and replenished minibars and liquor dispensers. Some suites have balconies with outdoor spa tubs.

Don Manuel - Main restaurant. Buffet-style dining and show-cooking stations. Theme dinners served three times a week.
Yokohama - Japanese theme restaurant. Dinner only; reservations required.
La Bodega - Brazilian theme restaurant. Dinner only; reservations required. Luigi - A la carte Italian. Dinner only; reservations required.
Krystal - Krystal - Specializes in New Mediterranean cuisine prepared by elite international chefs. Guests will enjoy the elegant and sophisticated ambiance and premium service.
Steakhouse Restaurant - A la carte. Dinner only; reservations required.
La Altagracia - Light, simple fare. Salads, fruits, chicken, fish, hamburgers. Lunch.
Sports Bar - Open 24 hours. Light fare. Multiple TVs tuned to sports. Darts, video games.
Perico Chicote - Lobby piano bar. Open late morning till late night.
Los Rosarios - Terrace bar outside of lobby. Open late morning till late night.
La Plaza - Bar near theater. Open late morning till late night.
Saona - Swim-up bar. Seasonal hours.
Room service - 24 hours a day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Recreation
The majority of recreational activities and facilities described below are included in the room rate at Riu Palace Punta Cana.
The resort has a fitness room with sauna and spa tub, two tennis courts, a pool with swim-up bar, a children's pool and playground, and a kids club with daily activities for ages 4-12.
Non-motorized water-sports equipment includes kayaks, catamarans, body boards, and windsurfers. Daily entertainment programs may include aerobics classes and beach volleyball.

“Looking forward to my next trip to the D.R.!”
Riu Palace Punta Cana was more and better than I expected! Check-in/out was super easy and friendly.Our room was overlooking the gardens and was gorgeous. Although I felt the room could have been cleaner/better kept up and it had weird musty smell to it. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. The pool and beach was reason I was there and could not have asked for anything better. I would not recommend getting a message from the spa….it was NOT worth the money and it did nothing for me…it was a waste of my money. But everything else was PERFECT! I can’t wait to go back!
“Riu Palace: A palace fit for a king”
When you drive into the Riu Palace Punta Cana, you will be instantly amazed by how beautiful it is. They served us drinks as we checked in. Fresh towels every day, twice a day. Food was very delicious and even though we couldn't get reservations for the restaurants, the main dining areas were spectacular. Pool was clean, beach has fine white sand and light blue waters. My group was thinking of staying another night because we just didn't want to leave! Employees were smiling 24/7 and they joked with you all the time. If you ever have a chance to come to Punta Cana, you must stay at this hotel. I don't think I can wait a whole year I might have to come back this winter.

The hotel staff was superb. On arrival our suite was not ready so the manager noted we were using Expedia and put us in the BEST oceanfront jacuzzi suite in the hotel. The beach, pools, drinks and food were the best! Travel between airport and hotel was easy. Maid service and room service excellent. One suggestion: add scotch to in-room bar

The hotel was fantastic. The service was very impressive and superb. My wife and children enjoy themselves a great deal and so do I. I really like your representative at the hotel, he did a wonderful job. I already call my friends and recommended the hotel.

What made this experience very memorable was the staff. They were on every corner willing and ready to assist us in any way. Our kids loved it.!! This is a place where we will most defiantly go back to ........soon!

“All Inclusive -- 1st timer”
This was our first time to Dominican Republic and also our first time going "all inclusive". The hotel was in beautiful condition; the staff was very freindly and helpful. Our next vacations will have to be all inclusive thanks to the wonderful experience we had at the RIU resorts. The beach,food,room and water activities were top notch. We'll defintely go back. Can't wait.......

This is the 3rd Riu Hotel that I have stayed in and this one is gorgeous. The Service wa excellent and the rooms were beautiful and clean.. clean.. I will be going again and staying here Oh Yeah!

The quality of the Hotel service was extraordinary, very pleasant and polite workers. The ambiance of the Hotel was amazing. I enjoy the beach, the entertainment and most of all the variety of the food. My whole experience at this hotel was not what I expected, it was better. I booked this hotel because it was recommended to me and I was very pleased to have done that.
