“Four days without children.”
If we were willing to make the eight hour drive again we would most certainly want to stay at this hotel again.
“Cozy hotel”
I really liked this hotel. The room was small but we were only there to sleep. We had a queen size bed and the room faced the St. Lawrence Seaway. The boardwalk is only 1 and a half blocks away. The trees in the park adjacent to the hotel blocked most of the view of the seaway. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and we ate there every morning. All of the staff were very attentive. You can walk to almost everything from the hotel. Shops and restaurants are only two blocks away on St. Louis Street. Walk diagonally across the park and you will be at the Chateau Frontenac, a very large and beautiful hotel. I recommend the tour there, it was very interesting. Another recommended tour is to St. Anne's, a beautiful cathedral, and the water falls. I would definitely stay there again.
“Wonderful time at the Chateau Bellevue”
We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Chateau Bellevue. It was perfectly situated, just across a small park from the Chateau Frontenac, and the Terrasse Dufferin boardwalk and within easy walking distance of all the sites including the Funicular to the Lower Town. Although the area was close to everything, it was quiet with very little street traffic. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. I liked it that the hotel was very conscious of being eco-friendly with soap, shampoo, and conditioner in dispensers rather than in those little bottles and places to recycle bottles and cans. The staff was friendly and answered questions readily. The lobby/lounge/dining area was a pleasant place to sit, have a drink from the wine bar machine, look things up on the computer, and chat with other guests. I would definitely stay at the Bellevue next time I am in Quebec City and recommend it to friends.
“What a gem!”
Perfect. Quiet and beautiful location (one of the best locations in all QBC, in my opinion), quaint, small clean rooms, very reasonably priced. Fantastic continental breakfast. They also have a contraption that dispenses wine! Basically a wine vending machine. Woo!
“Location, Comfort, Value”
This charming hotel is situatated in an ideal location--right across the street from the Chateau Frontenanac and within walking distance of all major sights. The staff here is most helpful and friendly. Self-serve breakfast included crepes, muffins, bagels, toast, five kinds of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, espresso, hot chocolate and a large varitities of tea. My room was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was also very quiet. The lobby, where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea, or a glass of wine from the glass-for-purchase machine, overlooks a park and the St. Lawrence Seaway. There is also a computer with internet service here. This hotel does not a lot of amenities, but, if location, comfort and value are what you're looking for, I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Loved loved loved our hotel”
We loved this hotel so much we stayed an extra night and they accommodated us. It is small but so clean and nice. Good continental breakfast and very friendly staff.
“sweet and to the point”
The room was plain and small but clean and just comfortable enough for two people. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It's in a quiet section of town on a hill overlooking the river (very pretty views). Would definately go back again.
“Home away from home”
This boutique hotel has a great location, in the shadow of the Chateau Frontenac, across from a park looking out to the St. Lawrence R., very friendly helpful staff, great cont. breakfast, and inviting lobby to relax in . The rooms are a little small but very clean and the whole environment is quiet inside and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.
“great loation, everything ok for class of hotel”
great location; everything ok for class of hotel
“Very Nice, Small Hotel”
A small hotel in a wonderful location fronting on a park and one block from the boardwalk overlooking the Old City below. The room was modest, sized, immaculate and well appointed. Just one block from Aux Anciens Canadiens Restaurant. We would return anytime we were going to Quebec.
