Although our unique Chapel room being very cozy and our best entry-level accommodation with two twin beds, it is less spacious than our Deluxe King rooms. We do not have an elevator due to the strict historical codes, we kindly invite our guests to reach to us in advance for any floor preferences. The ceilings are 11 feet high and decorated with a classic hand painted pochoir (stenciling). The art deco chandeliers and sconces have been lovingly restored. Merci Judith.....and wow, we really dropped the ball on this. Based on your comments concerning the air conditioning, my guess is that the thermostat had been accidentally programmed with a timer setting, which would explain just why it would stop after a while. My sincerest apologies that we did not catch that during your stay.We will definitely look further into the smell you experienced from the terrasse outside. Perhaps there was some work being done in the area that caused this, but I will look into it further.As for missing items in your cupboard and for the dirt on your bathroom floor, this was a huge oversight on our housekeeping team's part, and my sincerest apologies. Once the room is cleaned, we have a separate team member who inspects the rooms, and clearly, both individuals missed these items. I am curious if you informed reception at the time you noticed these issues, so that we could have immediately sent a team member in to resolve this. I can assure you we will be meeting as a team to discuss this in an effort to prevent these oversights from happening again.
