I think this is a neat hotel. Pretty close to restaurants. Overall I liked this. Only things I would improve on is room condition and some parts of breakfast. Overall, room was good and tidy overall.

This Howard Johnson needs to upgrade their sign out front it is very hard to see at night and especially while it's raining. Needs to be larger higher up or at least put some light on it...

Maid service - not as I expected
We booked 4 nights. We put do no disturb on door next morning. We told cleaning person the next morning not to clean room but come back the next day. We never had our bed made the whole time. I asked for fresh towels from maid at the same time we put the sign on door. It wasn't until the last day did we get new towels again. The room was nice and staff was nice, nice area of town.and breakfast was very good. Just wish they had done our bed and fresh towels daily. We don't travel alot so I thought our room would be serviced daily. Maybe I was wrong. Other wise. I would stay again and find out in advance the room routine.

So we stayed for one night from California and front desk staff were so helpful and courteous to us. We arrived at the hotel around 8am and check in was not until 3 pm, they told us as soon as they had an open room we could check in, and while we waited they also let us leave our luggage with them, which was pretty cool. We walked around the area and went to a small store just to get some snacks and around 1030 am they allowed us to check in. The building itself could use some modern touches for sure but the staff and and area made up for it.

Nice Hotel!
An excellent mid-price hotel in Quincy MA. Rooms were nice and clean; king size bed was comfortable. Small breakfast buffet area but the food selectiona nd quality was very good. Would stay there again!

Decent property for the money. Convenient to Quincy locations. There were spots in the room ( window sills ) that were not clean. If you are picky about small details, upgrade to the courtyard Marriot.

Worst stay for 277 dollars
Elevator is covered by stains inside. In the room One bed had black hair on it another bed had huge blood stains on sheets. I asked to change the room, but my request was rejected. I received a new stack of sheets which had black hair on it too. At night a man next door was shouting “Help me!”, I called front desk and nobody replied. I came to front desk to tell about a shouting man and he said “He he I know”

Unfortunately my stay there was terrible I saw a mouse crawling underneath my bed. The front desk person reassigned me to another room. I would like to have a refund for my visit

Very old hotel, the carpet smell like dead animal. I would not stay here again.
