if you are looking for a plce to sleep at night and spend all say at the beach this place is cheap and perfect. shower was almost nonexsistent. think crashing on your poor buddies couch for a few nights.

“End of Summer Getaway to the Delaware Shore”

Delaware Shore: great location within "The First State" being a small wonder, but offering large treasures.

“Great location”

This hotel is in a great location. Only about a block from the beach. The rooms are small and kind of run down, but considering the price, not that bad. Not a lot of sound proofing between rooms. Parking is an issue. A no-frill hotel, just as advertised.

“For last minute.. It wasn't bad. I'd stay there again if I couldn't find another place.”

Wouldn't be my first choice but if I planned to go to the beach in mid summer with one week notice and everything else was sold out, I'd stay there again. Parking is like a shell game and if you want to park on site you need to leave your cell phone number in the window of your car so you can be called to move your car if you have some one parked in. The window unit AC is weak and loud. Took the whole first night to cool off the room. It is what it is.

“u get what u pay for”

The location was great & so was the price. When we arrived it was about 9:30pm & our keys were not in the box outside as promised. so we went inside the hotel lobby which was pitch dard so we rang the bell. the guy finally came out looking like he just woke up. charged us a refundable deposit of $40 for parking, even tho their website says it was $30. it was 4 of us total, 2 rooms. when we asked which key belonged to who he goes "it doesnt match, pick one!" the next day when we checked out he had convenient amnesia about us giving him the $40 cash for the parking pass. he quickly remembered because we were not leaving until we got our $40 back. other than that it really wasnt too bad. we only stayed one night so it worked well for us considering the convenient location & great price. it was ok.

“Just a beach hotel, that certainly can be better”

The hotel is in an excellent location. But what is clear is that there is no need to great amount of money to have the walls wells painted, wires and cords of tv and all apliances neatly arranged, new or at least with less use towels, and so on. This are thing that can be improved. All in all, the hotel is correct for the amount I paid in a long summer weekend.

“Zero Frills - Low Cost - Great Location”

I expected "budget" accommodation, and that is what I found. Imagine paying an amazingly low price (for the location) for a cleaned up bedroom in a frat house, and you won't be disappointed. If you are young, love being close to the beach, like to stay up late partying with your friends and are not a light sleeper, you will probably love this place.

“Summer Place is a good deal”

If you're looking for something inexpensive with a good location and your expectations are low, this is the place. The room was clean, although spartan, but it had what I needed for a two night stay. I would stay again.

This hotel was VERY basic but clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom very small. The price was right and it is only one block from the beautiful beach and boardwalk, 3 blocks to the main street in town.
