"This was the 2nd time we tried staying at the Nugget. After the terrible experience we had the week earlier, we thought we would give it one more chance. The power was out when we arrived. The staff was checking people in manually by writing down information on paper. When the power came back on, the elevators were kind of working. It took 5 tries to get the elevator to stop on our floor. After about an hour, the power went off again. The room became hot pretty quickly. Not able to open the windows at all. We checked out and went to a different hotel. We asked for a refund but the staff did not know if we could get a refund until the power returned. You would think the Nugget would invest in generators to operate the hotel."
