Great value
This is a very clean hotel and it's nice because it's a little out of the way from the main tourist parts but still close enough to walk. It's in a very quiet area and about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach. There are lots fo restaurants and grocery stores around. Small kitchenette in the room was great for making meals and keeping the cost of the trip down. Would definitely recommend Vivian studios.

Brilliant Stay
My partner and I visited here for a week in June and we had an amazing time. On arrival we received a very warm welcome and were offered a cold drink. We were then shown to our room which was lovely. Our room had everything you needed including a basic kitchen area with a fridge freezer, kettle, toastie machine and cutlery. There is also a double hob which was situated by the draining board. We didn't really use the kitchen much as we ate out for most of our meals however on the odd occasion we did make a sandwich to take out with us. Overall the room was lovely comfortable and suited our needs. There was also a safe and air conditioning. The apartments are located about 20 minutes from the beach and about 5 to 10 minutes from the bus stop and taxi rank. I would suggest if you want to visit the beach to take some shoes you can wear in the sea as it is very stoney and a task to get into the water without. The area itself is really nice and we found a couple of really good places to eat courtesy of Vivian. We did however find the portion sizes were huge so we ended up ordering one meal and sharing it between us to save wasting food. Overall I would recommend people to stay here the accommodation is just what you need for a holiday and the owners make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much.

HUI-JU, 10mins from bus stop and 20-30 mins to the beach,some restaurant nearby.

Friendly staff and good apartment for relaxing
We made the booking for dormitories, but they gave us a twin room on high floor. it was so happy and enjoy the holiday from their kindly.

Cozy hotel, fabulous staff!
We were picked up from the airport by the owner! Upon arrival at the property the greeting we received was warm and welcoming. The staff has gone out of their way to help us with all of our needs. We have extended our original stay and will return again!

Pretty hotel, fair sized and cosy.
Arrived to very friendly staff who have great recommendations on where to go and places to see in the area. Super helpful in every way and genuinely pleasantly surprised at how clean and well kept the rooms were. Very convenient place to stay where the beach is less than 10minutes away by bus, and the town centre is 15minutes away by bus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing holiday, wonderful people :)
We chose Vivian Studios for the reviews and for the location, we were not disappointed. The studios are well located not far from Rhodes Town but far enough that you feel part of the local community which was wonderful. The room was light, clean and had a little sunny balcony perfect to sit out on and watch the sun come up and the people go about their daily lives. I especially loved the songs coming from the monks on Filerimos on the Sunday morning. Vivian and Irene were welcoming and attentive. I loved sitting with an expresso in the shade of a lilac tree in the small courtyard and hearing all about Rodos from Irene. Self catering was easy as the Super Market and Bakery is just across the street and unbelievably cheap. Cooking was a bit of a challenge as there is only a two ring hob but we still managed eggs and bacon on most mornings and you can eat out at the local Tavernas each evening which was wonderful. We will definitely be returning to Rhodes and to Vivian studios hopefully very soon. I can highly recommend.

Most lovely owner great hotel
After reading all the great reviews of this hotel I booked it with great expectations. It isn't in a tourist part of town but within 15 minutes walking are the beach, more restaurants than you could ever visit and bus stops to lots of tourist attractions. It is a basic hotel but it is clean and comfortable and the free extras such as fast wifi and air conditioning made it a very pleasant stay. Vivian and her mother are always ready with a smile and a cup of tea to ask you how your day was and to give advice on places to go. Vivian will also arrange car or scooter hire for you and will book taxis if you require. The only negative to the whole stay was the shower. We couldn't figure out how to put it up as it was attached to a tap, so we had to help each other to shower for the week. Luckily we're both tall so it wasn't too much bother!

Wonderful family owned hotel in Rhodes Greece.
As a woman traveling alone I highly recommend this friendly, safe, family owned hotel. Vivian and her mother Irene are warm, friendly and accommodating. Stayed for several nights and had a wonderful holiday.

Comfortable, welcoming - and Greek!
We wanted a base from which to explore the island and Vivian Studios was ideal for this. If you are looking for 5* comfort, constant entertainment, bars and swimming pools this is not for you - but if you want to stay somewhere with a local feel, which offers a welcome second to none, very comfortable beds, access to local retailers and tavernas and the chance to watch the sun come up whilst the man next door tends his chickens and hoes his garden, then you can't do better than Vivian Studios! The beach is a ten minute walk, and if you have a car Ialysos is handy for Rhodes town and the airport (but not affected by the flightpath at the Studios). Lindos and other east coast resorts can be reached in an hour or so, Monolithos took about 90 minutes.Vivian and her mum are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble - whilst being happy to sit and chat in the evening they are not intrusive at all. Rooms are simply furnished (the one we had did actually match the website representation) and have AC (no extra charge), fridge and simple cooking utensils (take a cork screw!) a small balcony and thoughtful extras such as outdoor lanterns and tealights. Free WiFi is an added bonus (useful to book your taxi on your return if you have forgotten!). Vivian tells you on your first night to consider the Studios your second home in Greece - and it was. We will definitely be back.

Nice hotel 10 km far from Rodos town
Hotel rooms were nicely greek style decorated. There was a small kitchen with oven, fridge, and basic equipments. The owner Vivian and her mum was so lovely. They were really helpful to go around. We also had A/C issue that it was kaputt but Vivian called technicians right away and also offered to buy a new one as we were there. But we were Ok so we didnt ask for to buy. The building is located around the houses and threes. There are mosquitos around but there was İnsect killer plug in in the room as well as Mosquito net to put Around. Some nights were laudy but in general quiet.

Great place to stay
I stayed in Vivian Studios for two nights. The quality of the room was great and Vivian and her family are very friendly and helpful. The beach can be reached within 15 minutes on foot and there are several nice restaurants and bars in the area. The airport is just a short distance away and Rhodes town is easy to reach by bus or taxi. There is also a bakery and a store just a couple of minutes' walk away. Highly recommended!

Aria condizionata , proprietaria disponibile e simpatica. Per andare in spiaggia di da ombrellone e creme protettive :-) . ci sono dei gatti (pulitissimi) che puoi incontrare fuori della struttura e a volte anche dentro, per le scale .

I stayed in shared room. I would have wanted to have different rooms for female/male. Now I was sleeping in the same room with some old men who were snoring. I didn't feel comfortable. Bathroom was old-fashioned and dirty. For 18 euros/night I guess this is what you get! Staff was amazing tho!

The beds are terrible. Sleept on a tentbed for 3 nights and then got a regular bed and it was like it was no Madras at all. The transfer cost 25 euro and compared to the bus for 2.60 that's a rip off. The staff also forgot that I paid the hole amount and asked me for more money but then they said that maybe someone from the staff had taking some of it. It's a hostel not a apartment studio. But the staff was really nice and helpful.

However, the dorm rooms have also tent beds and this is why their price is so low. Regarding the Trasfer Service, the price is 25 euro because the driver has to wait to pick you up even if you have a delayed flight and no matter how long they will have to wait for you. The taxi ride costs 20 euro from the Airport to Vivian Studios so I dont think 5 euro difference is that big. VIVIAN'S STUDIOS, UNA PIACEVOLE CONFERMA
Eravamo già stati ospiti da Vivian's Studios due anni fa e ci erano piaciuti moltissimo il clima semplice, di gentilezza e di simpatica familiarità con i quali ci si sente accolti e "coccolati". Quest'anno non solo abbiamo avuto piena conferma di questa gradevoli sensazioni, ma abbiamo trovato anche gli ambienti dei bagni ammodernati da una recente ristrutturazione e la possibilità di consumare la prima colazione, che due anni fa non ci era data. Assolutamente onesto e concorrenziale il prezzo di soggiorno! Anche la distanza dal mare (circa 15 minuti a piedi) non pesa particolarmente. Anzi, ti costringe a compiere un tuffo quotidiano nella vita del paese di Ialissos, della sua piazza, di suoi locali. Insomma, questa distanza ti porta ad assistere a scorci di vita dei suoi abitanti!

zalige, mooie, rustige plek en super vriendelijk!!
Veruit een van de beste verblijfsplaatsen waar ik al ben geweest! Een vriend en ik hebben last minute, en nogal impulsief, tickets gekocht naar Rhodos en kwamen dus toevallig uit bij Vivian studios. Maar het was kortweg zalig!!! Enorm vriendelijk cliënteel, deftige kamers, goede prijs en uitstekende locatie voor diegenen die dichtbij Rodos stad willen zitten, maar tegelijk ver weg van de drukte willen blijven! Een aanrader voor iederen

Semplice, pulito ed economico.
Ho trascorso qui le mie vacanze estive insieme alla mia ragazza. La struttura si trova a metà strada tra la città di Rodi e l'aeroporto internazionale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Devo purtroppo partire dalle note dolenti, in quanto, pur avendo prenotato fin da marzo una camera superior con letto matrimoniale, per le prime due notti ci è stata assegnata una camera molto piccola, sprovvista di tv e con i letti singoli. Fortunatamente dal terzo giorno si è resa disponibile la camera che avevamo effettivamente prenotato. Camera spaziosa e molto pulita dotata di aria condizionata e tv: le lenzuola e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati praticamente tutti i giorni. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibilissimo e pronto a farti sentire come a casa.

Lo studios e situato nella parte alta della città , posizione tattica perché vicino ad una strada che permette di attraversare l'isola per spostarsi dall'altra parte dove le spiagge sono migliori, personale cordiale sempre sorridente , gentile e molto disponibile.

Θα ξαναπήγαινα εύκολα.
Εξαιρετική τιμή, ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο και μπάνιο, ψυγείο, ηλεκτρική κουζίνα, σκεύη για μαγείρεμα, air-condition, WiFi (το οποίο δεν χρειάστηκα οπότε δεν μπορώ να απαντήσω για την ποιότητα σήματος). Μην περιμένετε χλιδές, αλλά τα αξίζει τα λεφτά του και με το παραπάνω. Θα χρειαστείτε ωστόσο δικές σας πετσέτες προσώπου και αφρόλουτρο ή/και σαμπουάν, αλλά και πάλι για την τιμή του δωματίου αυτά που προσφέρει είναι υπέρ-αρκετά. Οι άνθρωποι που το έχουν εξαιρετικοί και εξυπηρετικότατοι. Η περιοχή είναι γειτονιά με όλα τα απαραίτητα κοντά και μια συμπαθητική πλατεία στα 2' με τα πόδια. Για την πόλη της ρόδου χρειάζεται συγκοινωνία ή μέσο μεταφοράς.

Hôtel familial très simple et propre
Accueil chaleureux, Vivian est très serviable et arrangeante. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse des personnes présentes, le calme et l'accès rapide aux commerce aux alentour de l'hôtel. J'ai pu louer un vélo grâce à Vivian qui m'a été apporté sur place! Je suis ravi de mon choix d'hôtel qui m'a permis de renouer contact avec la générosité et simplicité relationnelle des grecs. JE recommande fortement cet hôtel aux personnes qui n'aiment pas les grands hôtels que l'on voit partout dans le monde et qui n'ont rien de l'ambiance locale. Une fois encore, le calme et l'accès aux commerces et petits restaurants est un point fort de ce lieux d'hébergement placé à 6 kms de la ville de Rhodes, c'est à dire à 30 mn en vélo, mais avec un parcours de toute beauté le longs des très belles plages ... pour des personnes qui apprécie l'activité physique, c'est un deal excellent !!

Sejour à VIVIAN STUDIO
C'était absolument génial. Pour le rapport qualité/prix. Vivian est quelqu'un de chaleureux accueillant et très à l'écoute.Il ne faut pas être exigeant sur la globalité du séjour en terme de confort . On ne peut pas avoir le prix et le confort d'un shératon. il y a des choix a faire, et nous ne regrettons pas celui ci. De plus, la résidence est située a 10 mn de Rhodes ville neuve et ancienne ville. c'est donc super. je le recommande fortement pour des personnes qui ne cherchent pas le luxe a tout prix.... à bas prix.... surtout.

Henkilökunta tosi mukava ja pyrkivät toteuttamaan kaikki toiveesi. Wifi ei kyllä toimi toivotulla tavalla. Omistaja tietää asiasta ja yrittää selvittää asiaa. Jos tarvitset vain majoitusta etkä vaadi huoneistolta paljoa etkä halua olla turismin keskellä niin tämä on sopiva pieni hostelli sinulle.

Cordialità e Accoglienza
sono stata qui ad agosto, Vivian e sua mamma Irene, le proprietarie ci hanno accolto in un clima di disponibilità e gentilezza in un carinissimo giardino di fiori; la struttura in se non è moderna ma c'è tutto quello che serve per una vacanza in totale relax, la zona è molto comoda e ben servita. Ci ritorneremo!

Vivian and her friends/family are very pleasant. They helped us feel comfortable and provided us with good advice. We've been able to speak French, and I assume they speak many other languages. The rooms are cosy, and they have a sweet balcony without neighbors. The air conditioner is working properly. The hotel is located close to the bus stop to Filerimos (20meters), and a little further to the other bus stops (Rhodes, the airport,...) but it's still only 5-10 minutes walking and the streets are pleasant and typical. There are buses to the airport or Rhodes every 15 minutes, it is quite easy and fast to get there (ticket price ~2€). There are 2 small supermarkets really close (5meters - 20 meters) where you can buy food and water, and a bigger one about 200 meters away. The area is filled with one sweet restaurant and some snacks. If you walk through the center you will encounter a few bars. Gezellig familiehotel!
Hele fijne vakantie gehad, erg lieve mensen. Het hotel is erg schattig en doet heel Grieks aan met de blauw tinten die je overal terug ziet.

Dette er et utrolig koselig pensjonat drevet av mor og datter. Her er du langt unna bamseklubber og gresk aften; du bor midt i en stor landsby med gresk hverdagsliv rundt deg. Uslåelig pris med tanke på at det er både god aircondition og en ganske stabil wifi inkludert i prisen. Rommene er svært enkle, renholdet er ok, ikke helt tipp topp, men vi var likevel superfornøyde. Eierne er bare så varme, hjelpsomme og rause mennesker at det er umulig å mistrives her. Populært blant backpackere og studenter. Mange matbutikker og spisesteder i umiddelbar nærhet og en grei gåtur ned til stranden. God bussforbindelse til Rhodos by. Vil du ha et hyggelig opphold på lavbudsjett, er dette stedet å bo på.

Ottimo punto di partenza
Sono andato con la mia ragazza la settimana dall'11 al 18 luglio 2015..Ottimo punto strategico per girare l'isola e vicino alla città principale di Rodi. Personale molto disponibile e simpatico..se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa erano subito pronti ad aiutarci!!Consiglio molto!!

Appartamenti ideali per coppie e famiglie. Top!
Appartamenti carini, per chi non abbia grosse pretese, puzza sotto il naso e si sappia adattare. Personale molto premuroso, accogliente e caloroso. Vivian è molto solare e disponibile, il custode notturno molto di compagnia e socievole. Ci è stata proposta una camera con letto matrimoniale nonostante avessimo prenotato una a due letti singoli e noi abbiamo accettato molto sorpresi e compiaciuti (senza costi aggiuntivi). La locazione è perfetta, in Ialyssos, tranquilla e molto vicina sia a Rodi città che all'aeroporto. Personalmente sono soddisfatto di avere scelto questa zona e questa costa, sicuramente meno caotica. Vivian inoltre ci ha aiutati nel noleggiare lo scooter con cui ci siamo spostati tutti i giorni e il giorno dell'arrivo ci è venuta a prendere con l'automobile alla fermata dell'autobus (non sapevamo proprio dove andare). Gente di Rodi molto calorosa e affettuosa. Vacanza stupenda, indimenticabile. Già mi manca Rhodes.

Милый отель, очень дружелюбный персонал, всегда готовый помочь. В наличии все самое необходимое. Возможность готовить себе самому. Немного далековато до моря, но это компенсируется прекрасными о окрестностям и возможностью ближе познакомиться с греческой культурой и жизнью)

Vriendelijke en goede service
Familiehotel met zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Kamer die wij hadden was eenvoudig maar goed, alleen keukentje en badkamer waren niet al te schoon, de rest van de kamer wel!

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato presso vivian la prima settimana di agosto la nostra stanza era collocata al piano terra la stanza aveva tutto frigo fornelli aria condizionata e bagno in camera perfetto direi.. La cosa piu bella di questo hotel e' il personale a partire da vivian che e' molto cordiale ed esaudisce ogni tuo problema ed e' una ragazza solare. poi invece la mamma di vivian irene era veramente un piacere stare con lei a parlare sia alla mattina che alla sera e tutti i consigli dei posti da visitare spiagge e dove andare a mangiare.Cmq non so se avete capito il pezzo forte di questo hotel e' la gentilezza la generosita' di queste due persone fantastiche ci hanno fatto sentire a casa grazie per la splendida vacanza

Sentirsi a casa
Il Vivian Studios è facilissimo da raggiungere dalla fermata degli autobus, in una zona tranquillissima e fornita di vari minimarket, ristoranti e una farmacia proprio all'angolo. Vi accoglieranno Vivian e la madre Irene, gentilissime e premurose, che vi faranno sentire a casa e vi aiuteranno a esplorare l'isola con i loro consigli! L'alloggio è molto carino, anche se semplice e basilare.
