Amazing beautiful Lake front property with over 400 years of history. Family run for the past 150 years. amazing staff and the owners will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and right at home. The view of the lake is incredible and so is the property. Very modern confortable rooms. My wife and I fell in love with this hotel, we will be visiting every time we come to Switzerland.

Best value for money, amazing lake view. Very peaceful and quiet. Away from all over crowded areas like interlaken, Grindelwald, and lauterbrunnenm. Had ac, and mini fridge. Free parking, free breakfast. Amazing place.

Please stay here!
The owners were fantastic and went out of their way to take care of us. We had lost luggage with quite a delay and when it arrived they brought it directly to our room at 8:30 in the evening. These people work ALL DAY to provide excellent service. The location was great as it was quiet and BEAUTIFUL! So much better than staying in one of the large, touristy cities.

The family that runs this were very friendly and worked very hard. The view is unsurpassed. It’s convenient to Interlaken and Brienz. Breakfast was amazing and dinner/dessert great.

The view from this hotel was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good with a lot of options. It was also very close to the bus and train stations for a quick trip into Interlaken.

Lovely view and lakeside garden and restaurant seating. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. However quite expensive (it's Switzerland, I guess) and the decor is a bit dated, with tiny bathroom.

Swiss Dreams are made of these!
A little glitch at checkin but the hotel resolved it quickly. Staying a week here was like a dream: cozy & comfortable room, great lake view, sumptuous breakfast, gorgeous private lakeside garden, free transportation passes, secured parking for guests. It’s very convenient to have a pier right in front of the hotel to go on the lake cruises. We will probably come back to stay here again for our personal reasons.

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Hotel Seeburg. The setting is picturesque and incredibly quiet. It's a very short drive to the Interlaken train station. We look forward to staying here again if ever in the region.

Amazing hotel and staff! The views were the best of our trip. Highly recommend room #6! Nice big balcony. Family run hotel. Be sure to walk up to the church. Awesome views from up there.

Thanks to all at Hotel Seeburg, we spent a very comfortable few days. the hotel is always spotless. The only issue is the size of the bathroom. I would say a car is very useful as the boats are not as regular as we would have liked and there is a steep climb to the village.

We liked the fact that the hotel owner is very friendly and he offered us a ride back to the nearest bus station with our luggage on the day we left. Bathroom in our room was very small though.

Heaven on Earth
We are so happy we choosed this hotel, that we will be back for sure. For many reasons, the staff is friendly and welcoming , the room with the lake view is fantastic and clean, the breakfast is very good, the location is awesome, the garden where to took breakfast by the lake is so so beautiful, and the view to all over from the hotel is fantastic it's heaven on Earth, I recommend this place to all.

Gorgeous views
The view from this hotel looks like from a magazine. Wonderful stay and friendly staff. From our tours around both lakes, this would be our top choice for a hotel anywhere near Interlaken. If arriving by train, it is a 6 minute walk down to the hotel. If you can time your arrival with the boat schedule, you can be dropped off at the ferry stop right in front t of the hotel.

Favorite hotel on our trip in Switzerland.
This place is amazing. Favorite hotel on lake Brienz. We took the ferry and saw a few other hotels that looked neat but not like seeburg. Highly recommend. You can use a car, take 10 min walk to train or bus, or take the ferry.

I was in the newer five story section. Two things to note: lack of air-conditioning was overcome with an open véranda door and large fan (which I mounted in the desk for greater effect; and the shower wall in 502 was beginning to chip and crumble. The free trolley into town was a real plus. The breakfast was exceptional (except the main selections were in front of a large window showcasing the garbage bin). Rooms were very comfortable and I would consider returning

The hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location right on the lake. We took the ferry to the hotel. It was nice to have just a few steps right to the hotel. A fairly comfortable room with view of the lake. Our room had a balcony. I don't believe we have like to stay in any of the other rooms. There was a beautiful garden area right the lake with spot to get to the water. Ringgenberg is a small town with very little to do. It is a great hotel to just relax. The restaurant at the hotel was okay but the only spot close to eat. Pleasant owner and staff.

Staying there was really fantastic. This hotel was in the middle of very calm village, exactly near the lake. Our room was lake view and we couldnt enjoy it more. The reception was a very friendly lady guided us for everything, including where we could experience fondue in interlaken. It is better to reach the hotel by ship. I didnt know it and we tried to reach there by train, but after arriving the train station we didnt see any taxi there so we walked to the hotel and it was a little bit hard for us as we had luggage. We had dineer and break fast there with the breath taking view of the lake. We enjoyed the meals as well.

This was our favorite hotel in Switzerland during our vacation. We loved how close to the water it was and how quiet it was. It really was paradise. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can take the bus from Interlaken ost and it takes you just a few minutes from the hotel. The walk from the bus is beyond cute - walking through neighborhoods and a church and castle ruins. There is a boat that you can take as well that brings you right to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel!
