“Great Hotel - Near the Beach”
We really enjoyed the hotel. Very clean and staff was very accommodating. They even allowed us a 3pm checkout the night we were flying out. Definitely recommend it!

“So good we went back”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was great and was cheaper and better than the one we had stayed at in ipenema. Has great vaket parking, erally close to beach and a great rooftop bar and sitting area.
“Plaza is a great deal near the beach”
The location is great, the rooms are nice, there's a great view from the rooftop pool/bar/deck, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. What really made our stay great, though, were the extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Good hotel in a close location to the major tourist areas. Clean well kept inside with small but well laid out rooms. Food is very good and staff are very friendly and willing to help.
“Very nice”
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, overall excellent service. Breakfast was really good, had a great selection of food in the buffet. Our room was very small but nice and everything we needed. We spent most of our days out and about so the smallness of the room didnt bother us too much. However we did find the noise level in the early mornings was quite loud as there seemed to be quite a bit of activity in and out of the rooms as if we were next to the cleaners quarters - not sure if this was the case though. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
“Nice hotel in Rio”
This is a Brazilian hotel--the rooms are small. Don't stay here if you are expecting the Marriot. However, if you want a safe, clean, convenient place to stay with employees that are very helpful, a good breakfast, this is a good place. The beach is two blocks away, it's a safe area. The pool on the roof is very small but the space is gorgeous with fabulous views and a nice place to relax.
“Would def go back!!”
The hotel reception were very helpful, polite and gave fantastic advice. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel was very nicely decorated. Id say the only negative on our stay was that the pool was very small but other than that I would recommend the plaza to anyone!
“very nice hotel”
I was very impressed, the hotel was really nice and clean, but especially the employees at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Brazilians have a very good costumer service. Breakfast was really good. The location is not really the best of rio, but is close enought to a lot of places and taxis are cheap. i definetly recommend this hotel.
“Wonderful”
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were one block from the beach and you could see the ocean from the rooftop poolside/bar area! Definitely a local's beach mixed with tourism! The staff were so helpful, friendly and overall amazing. We felt as if we were leaving friends on our last day!
