“Valentin at Valetine's time”
This was our fourth trip to this resort . We were not disappointed as a group of 10 of us. I felt the check in and check out was probably the best out of our 4 visits. The only thing I would recommend is that 2 room keys are given at check in. We did have an issue when we asked for another key and the key was not activated properly. This happened twice but on the third attempt, two new keys were activated at the same time and worked fine. This is the worst thing that happened so overall, I can take that easily. The service at bars and dining areas was everything from terrific to very good. the seafood was wonderful (yes, there is whole fish but very fresh and delicious). The lobster is worth the additional amount and we had a resort credit so this was great. The resort shows very little wear in the three years we have been going. The grounds are immaculate and you see maintenance very active keeping everything just like new. The bed mattresses are comfy but starting to sag a little. The rooms were clean as always and everything was functional. If you are looking for good food, beautiful surrounds and a great pool, you can not want much more than this. The beach is great to walk on though a little rough surf, which some feels adds to the fun. The guys and gals did go deep sea fishing on two different boats and areas. They caught nothing, just as the other boats in the area did so you may want to skip this at this time of year.
“Perfect vacation!”
This was our 3rd time back to the Valentin. We love everything about it....the beach is beautiful and very private, the landscaping around the resort made our daily walks very enjoyable, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, and our room was spacious. We will definately return again.
“superb honeymoon place”
Me and my partner went to Imperial for our honeymoon. The room was absolutely perfectly spacious with large king bed. At arrival we had as a welcome surprise honeymoon decoration in room, champagne and lovely fruite basket and the towel swan on bed with roses gorgeouse. We had the front beach room with nice sea and partly palm views. We have enjoyed our time so much, the gardens at the resort at taken care so beautifuly, restaurants are delicious we have tried all of them and repeated few of them as we have stayed for 2 weeks. The hotel stuff everybody so friendly and helpfull. Beaches are long and clean. We have been sad to go back home. definitely if we will be able in the future would return. Can recommend to all - the great thing is this resort is adult only so you can really relax, but also many activities are available. Lovely evening shows. Michaela & Luis from Portugal
“Great resort!”
this is our second trip to the Valentin and it was even better. The most notable thing was the food, they are really trying to make it better, it was not bad the first time, just somewhat average, but this time it was good overall. We also really love the resort itself... it is a nice size, the activity pool is great, the beach is almost perfect and the staff is always gracious. I would definitely recommend this resort and will probably return for a 3rd trip.
“VERY NICE PLACE!”
I have stayed at numerous hotels in cancun and the mayan riviera and I would say that this hotel is up there with the best of them. Valentin is about 25 minutes from the airport. The grounds are impecable. Most beaches in Cancun and the Mayan Riviera have rough waves as does this beach (at least when we were there). There are some rocks and/or coral formations in the water so don't expect great swimming or snorkeling. They have a swimming area designated for swimming that is roped off but it's still rough. The beach is huge and sandy with both sheltered and unsheltered beach chairs. The pool is huge and very nice. Water in the ocean and pool is cool but you get adjusted. No problem getting a pool chair. We were told by our driver from the airport that the Valentin has the biggest pool in the mayan riviera. The bed was somewhat spongy feeling but it was fine. Air conditioning will set down to 68 degrees (no lower# which was cool enough. Food was good. It is different from US but it's good. I would recommend the Japanese restaurant and the Lobster pot #lobster is extra $ though). The soft shelled crab was awesome. There are plenty of bars and staff are really friendly and helpful. We ate at the beach restaurant 70% of the time just b/c it was close to our room and the wait staff there was great. Buffet for breakfast and lunch. Iguanas everywhere. I would rate this hotel high the only thing that I would have liked was a place to snorkel like the Xpu Ha palace resort has.
“Imperial maya”
Very impressed for the cost, we've paid 2000$ more for only slightly better resort . We're going back
“Loved our time at the Valentin!”
My wife and I just returned from a week at the Valentin Imperial Maya. We have been to a couple of all-inclusive resorts in the past, and we both agree that this one was the best. The resort was beautiful and the hotel and entertainment staff were all very friendly. We really enjoyed the restaurant options for dinner - all the restaurants we went to were delicious and we didn't go to the same one twice during our time there. Their were only a few options for lunch and breakfast, so that go a little repetitive but still good. Pool was great, we were always able to find chairs and the two swim up bars are alway nice to have! The beach was clean and quiet - no screaming kids! There were plenty of options for on-resort activities and entertainment, and no shortage of travel companies on-site if you wanted to do excursions. All in all, great trip and I would love to go back tot he Valentin again!
“Wonderful”
this place was beautiful, well kept and the staff was always friendly, which was more than I can say about some of the other guests.
“What a terrific place to relax.”
Great facility, wonderful staff! What else can I say. We wanted a quiet place (loved that it was adults only) and this place fit the bill. Free room service, which we used often, was terrific. Our expectations were high and we weren't disappointed. Just like the pictures! This place was a gem and we felt very blessed to be there. Nothing to complain about!
“good service”
Hotel very good with a very good beach,it has very good staff and a very good service.
