This hotel was the only one we could get for the night we needed to stay in DeKalb. I wish we would have driven 30 miles away instead! Very rundown, the room smelled, but did appear to be clean. One desk chair in the room (had a soiled seat cover). Needs update and repair!

I would never stay here again. The sheets appeared to be clean, but that was about it. Multiple stains on the comforter, chair cushions and carpet. Outside of building was very run down. The price was the best thing going for it.

“Should have Checked”

Because we were tight on money, we chose this hotel without really looking at comments of others. While it suited our needs at the time, it took me a good 1-1.5 hrs to finally feel comfortable enough to take a shower let alone go to sleep. If I had it to do over again, I would have tried to get a higher ranked hotel. The hotel wasn't bad if your standards are low.

I would never stay in this hotel again. It was absolutely nasty. Thank You Expedia for making it right! I will recommend Expedia to everyone. There was hair everywhere, used soap and shampoo in the shower with hair. The room itself smelled. And I was scared to park my car in their lot, because of the warning signs, about not being responsible for things stolen out of your car. My daughter was let down by the pool being out of service and the only ice machine in the place didn't work. I couldn't imagine eating the free breakfast because the lobby (if thats what you would call it) smelled like bug spray so bad I could hardly breathe! Stay somewhere else! This place was at the top of disgusting for us!

“Scary Area...”

The hotel was very rundown and in a rough area of DeKalb. We had 3 rooms there because we were visiting NIU and wanted to stay somwhere cheap. DON"T STAY HERE. We honestly felt unsafe at the hotel, not to mention it was in terrible shape.
