“Quiet hotel, good value”
The hotel is far from the central attractions but it is nice to come back to a quiet cosy place. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very helpful. Very frequent bus service from Piazza Sempione to the central areas, use the express buses. Our room was small but it was quiet and was good value. Take away food available at the piazza at very cheap prices. You can use the terrace for a quiet take away meal after a tiring day walking all over Rome. We came often came back very late and the area was safe enough for us to walk back to the hotel from the bus stops.
“Great hotel”
Very nice hotel. Pleasant, helpful staff, nice clean rooms, nice condition. A few miles out of Rome but easy access to city centre by bus, 20 minutes trip and very regular buses. Would advise taking a taxi from airport to hotel on arrival, as a little difficult to find on first day, cost approx 35 euros.
“Awesome Hotel”
This was a very modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel. Located in a very safe area. Did not feel like a hotel at all, felt as if I was staying in my own house. I stayed in a single room with a double bed. Room was fully equipped, and nicely decorated and the bed and comforter were very nice. After walking all over town this was a nice place to come to. The grounds of the hotel were nice as it is in a private villa. For what I paid I could not have gotten a better deal. The drawback? Well it is not near the center of the city, but there is an express bus that takes you there. Taxis will cost you 15 Euros. The staff is English speaking and are helpful. I really have no compliants about this place and would stay there again.
“rome's best kept secret”
we stayed here for our wedding aniversary, although a little way from the sights this was not a problem, you just get the number 90 bus from termini and get off at sempione turn right at the cross roads and you are there. the hotel was great ,the hotel staff were very helpful at all times. the free wi fi was a great help for printing our boarding cards for the trip back. breakfast was good and plenty of it.we would come back to this hotel again for sure. and it was also very peaceful at night on the terrace also free gym and spa if you want to use it, although we didn't.
“Hidden Gem on the outskirts of Rome”
We have just returned from a week at this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The staff were friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and cool. The rooms were air conditioned, clean and sheets and towels replaced daily. The gardens and roof terrace are well kept. The brakfasts were amazing! We had no problems getting buses into Rome and there is an all night service. We will go back.
“Great Hotel out of City Center”
The staff at this hotel were very friendly. The rooms were nice. The beds weren't the softest, but then again your in Europe. The rooms were spacious and contemporary as well as the bathroom. The neighborhood isn't bad. Don't be afraid of the graffiti in the area. It's everywhere in Rome. The breakfast was good for being free. There were not many restaurants nearby. It was about a 12 euro cab ride from Termini Station.
“Nice little Hotel”
Five of us stayed at the ARS hotel in April for a long weekend. We were very happy with it. It was spotless, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast had a good selection and was plentiful. It suited our needs perfectly. It cost us 50 Euro in a taxi (pre booked) to the hotel from Ciampino. Although it is a bit out of the centre, the buses are very easy to use and frequent and add to the experience. The staff at reception were very helpful with advice on buses, where to buy tickets and places to eat. We all thought if we came back to Rome we would stay there again. It was definitely very good value for money.
“Ars Hotel”
A great hotel which although not in the centre of town, has very good bus links to termini and the colosseum
“Very Satisfied”
The hotel is a modern boutique hotel - Located outside of the city centre it provides a nice haven away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. The hotel looks exactly like the picture on the expedia website, so we were not disappointed. The hotel staff were very friendly, and gave us great advice on what to see and how to get around the city centre. Our room was small but perfectly formed, and considering we spent most of our time sightseeing - this did not cause a problem, because it was very modern/chic. The breakfast was good, however there was no variation, so after the forth morning our enthusiasm was waning just a little... The buses into the city centre are frequent and easy to comprehend. The bus takes between 20-30mins depending on traffic (and you get to see lovely sights along the way). Overall - Great hotel and not too far from the centre. A most do city for those who like history, culture good food & beautiful sights!
“Good value”
Hotel turned out to be a good option in Rome. Facilities are well maintained, and buildings seem to be fairly new. Continental breakfast served daily definitely saved the day in touristy and pricey Rome. Hotel staff was afable and helpful.
