“Excellent hotel to explore Rome”
Artemide Hotel is an excellent hotel for people who want to explore Rome and its vicinities. It is very close to Termini train station, from where you can conveniently go to many places around Rome, and also where the two subway lines cross. It is within walking distance from the city center (which is not covered by the subway). We stayed for more than a week, and found this hotel to be an almost perfect choice. Our room was nice and clean (I would say, above an average European four-star hotel) and the staff was helpful. The neighborhood is fine, there are quite a few very good restaurants within half-mile radius, and a Despar supermarket almost across the road. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any tourist visiting Rome.
“A wonderful value and a wonderful experience”
This hotel was simply amazing. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and the room was fantastic. We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast that was wonderful. Simply put, the location, price, and quality of the staff and room cannot be beat.

The staff and hotel were exceptional, The only downside was that the rooms were quite warm, but this was overcome by leaving a window ajar.

My wife and I visited Rome on our honeymoon and I picked Hotel Artemide based upon its ranking and number of positive reviews (but getting a good package deal didn't hurt either). Since we flew from the US, we arrived in Rome early and the front desk was courteous enough to allow us to check in since they had a room ready. The front desk clerk, Valentina, was very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite and I appreciated that very much since not only was it our first trip overseas but also just got off a 9 hr flight too. The room was great and had lots of space for our needs. Only problem is that there is no A/C this time of year since it is cooler, the entire building has the A/C shut off so if you need any air, you literally have to open a window. Room included a fridge with comp drinks, snacks, coffeemaker and a couch that folded out if necessary. Room also had a balcony overlooking Via Nazionale the street the hotel is on. Unfortunately the rooftop terrace was closed for remodeling because I've heard it was great. The restaurant was also great and we remembered Eugenio best since he always was very pleasant and friendly. The neighborhood was fine and there was no issues of safety or inconvenience since there are plenty of shops, restaurants, etc nearby. Trademarks like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, etc are also within walking distance. There is also actually a grocery store across the street too if you really need anything additional.

A lovely hotel, which is kept spotlessly clean. All of the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. An added bonus was the free mini-bar, which is re-stocked daily with a range of cold drinks, including water and beer. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone.
“Mother /Daughter trip”
The staff was very friendly and helpful from making transportation arrangements to recommending restaurants. Location was convenient - all sites were within walking distance and some nice shopping right on Via Nazionale. Stocked mini-fridge in room that was free of charge was very nice. Breakfast at hotel was a great way to start the day! My daughter will definitely remember her sweet sixteen trip to Rome.

“Wife's Surprise Birthday Trip”
Never wrote a review before, but always check on Tripadvisor myself for making sure we choose the right hotel, wherever we go. Went to Rome for my wife's 30th, We stayed 3 nights and picked this hotel due to the reviews and location. Turned up to check in, and were granted a free upgrade, 2nd day we had just arrived back from sightseeing and there was a knock at the door, with room service. I tried to explain that we hadn't ordered anything and there must be a mistake. The waiter politely asked to come in and we can read the note, then he left. Turned out it was a bottle of champagne wishing my wife a happy birthday on behalf off the hotel. Loved that touch, as we have been many places on our birthdays, and never received anything. All the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Will 100% recommend this hotel to our family and friends and we will be back in future. Keep up the good work.
