“Fantastic Hotel right in the heart of Rome”
We stayed here 2/19-24/2012, The place is completely remolded and spotlessly clean. Beds are memory foam and very comfortable. Staff was great and the complimentary breakfast is fantastic. Located very close to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and the Panthanon. Can basically walk to just about everywhere but maybe the Vatican. Highly recomend...
“i stayed there Feb. 2012”
it was wonderful. great location, nice staff, and also good breakfast!
“Great Hotel in great location.”
Our recent 3 night stay at Hotel Barocco was the last leg of a 3 city vacation for our family of three including teenage daughter. The staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived! Our room was modern, comfortable and immaculate. A welcoming bowl of the most delicious fruit was a real touch of class, as were the lovely terrycloth bath robes gracing our bed. The hearty breakfeast included both buffet and full menu choices of the highest quality with an attentive and courteous staff. Daily newspapers in the comfortable study area were another great touch. The front staff was wonderful with everything including dinner reccomendations, reservations, directions, etc. The location is ideal. We walked to ALL major attractions except Vatican. We look forward to our next visit to Rome and our stay at The Hotel Barocco!
“Great choice”
Excelent location in Rome, very easy to go to any of the touristic sites walking or by metro, very clean hotel, as an Expedia VIP elite member, you get a real VIP treatment at this hotel from the staff
“Hotel Barocco was excellent”
We spent 2 nights and 3 days in Rome, Hotel Barocco was the best part of the trip ......breakfast was a wonderful start to a busy day …eggs and bacon was delicious and the coffee was great. The room was perfect comfortable bed and a large shower. I would stay here again. Really impressed.
“excellent location, nice room”
they let us checkin early, and the breakfast (included in price) next day was very good. In addition to buffet, you can order items off the menu.
“1st time in Roma.”
This was our first trip to Italy. We loved Hotel Borocco. Location was great. Breakfast was amazing. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We had so much fun with Nick in the hotel bar for our pre dinner cocktail. He makes amazing bruschetta appetizer!
“Two thumbs up!”
The staff was wonderful and the location is ideal for walking to the sights. This hotel has an incredible bathroom and great towels. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.
“One of the best hotels I've stayed at”
This hotel delivered a 4 star value at a 2 star price. We went in the off season (mid-late december), had a very comfortable, clean, and classy room. Excellent service, they even left us a christmas present on christmas eve. The room and bathroom were both similar to american hotel room sizes. Nothing small about this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, there was a nice bar with a lounge attached. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The location is steps from the metro, so if you're young and want to get around easily, you can take the metro to the Vatican, Colloseum, Forum, Spanish steps, and walk to the Trevi fountain. I couldn't think of a better location for a hotel. The front entrance is on a quiet street though, but is moments from the busy Barberini square. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
“Good deal at Hotel Barocco”
We stayed there for four nights in Sep-Oct 2008. Great location - walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc., subway stop next door, and good restaurants right on the square. Close pharmacy and grab and go stores (for bottled water, etc.) as well. Room was clean - marble bathroom (although tiny shower), etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
