“North rome”
Excellent hotel in the northern area of the city close to the spanish steps. No problems with the hotel or the area it was in.
“Comfortable Hotel”
Staff very helpful. Breakfast-room a little on the small side, but still comfortable.
“excellent location”
Having never been to Rome before I booked on Expedia and hoped for the best! the hotel served its purpose well. It was an ideal location and a short walk to the Spanish Steps one way and the Trevi fountain the other. The hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff very helpful. No restaurant or room service for food and small hairdryer in the bathroom so as a regular traveller I found that maybe 4 stars was a bit high. I have no complaints at all and would recommend 1st time travellers to Rome to stay here. Clean Friendly and very comfortable.
“Very pleased”
We spent 2 nights with my wife and were very pleased with hotel choice we made. I decided on this hotel on the basis of the review, so was not 100% about what to expect. very convinent location and surroundings. we did most of the city tour on foot, and location of the hotel helped (few minutes walk from Spanis steps to begin the tour). Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfeast was good too. Reception personel always helpful and friendly. Would definetly recommend.
“Wonderful little hotel!”
A lovely hotel, a welcome respite from very active city in a perfectly situated area near the Spanish Steps and Borghese Park. Hotel Ludovisi Palace is small, well appointed and offers a wonderful (multi-lingual) staff that is eager to help. The breakfasts were also a hit with my family. Rooms were generous for European standards and Via Ludovisi is a fairly quiet street just off Via Venetto which still hosts the upscale shops and grand hotels. The expansive Borghese Park is two blocks away and perfect for morning jogs. We were extremely happy with this boutique hotel and it's great staff.
“nice and good hotel”
The hotel was clean and in a good neighborhood and well ubicated.
“impressed”
Nice hotel, clean rooms, staff very helpful, near to/within walking distance to most attractions although not suit everyone as you do encounter quite a few hills. Only downside the hot part of breakfast was the same every day scrambled eggs and bacon which was often burnt and nearly always cold.
“Brilliant; ideal location”
Ludovisi Hotel has a brilliant location - 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 to Plazzo Barbarini and about 15-20 to the Trevi Fountain. There are some lovely restaurants/cafes near by. The tour bus is literally a 20 second walk from the hotel - ideal!!! All hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming. They gave us a map as soon as we arrived and gave us some directions to local attractions. You can also book the tour bus through them, which is great. The room was a perfect size and was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. The BEST shower EVER!!! Breakfast included cereals, fruit, cheeses, hams, breads, pastries and bacon & eggs - always stuck for choice as to what to have! Alltogether, a brilliant holiday!!!
“Great hotel”
Having read some reviews of the hotel before we went, we were expecting to be disatisfied at least a little. However, with this in mind, we can honestly say everything was extremely good. The hotel and reception staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. Wuls certainly go there again and would thoroughly recommend.
“great staff and location!”
very nice staff and great location! breakfast was just ok... the room was very clean. would stay there again! It was my first time in europe and everyone says to be careful to chose hotels there, but before i decided i read the other reviews and it really helped me a lot to choose the right hotel!
