“Great Location and Comfort”

This hotel is ideally situated for touring Roma. Its a 2 minute walk to the Metro, 5 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps, 10 minute walk Borghese Gardens and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. A little convenience store a few doors down was great for drinks and snacks. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was updated and had lots of towels and amenities and we had a lovely view from our living room across Rome to St. Peters. The breakfast spread was good and the service was great. Lovely lobby with internet access at a reasonable charge. My only complaint was that our 4 bedded room included a fold-out sofabed which was not the most comfortable for our kids. I would definitely return to the hotel on my next trip!

“Great location”

Great hotel very good location only 10 minutes from Trevi fountain.Most of the sights are within walking distance.Metro station 5 mins away.Beautiful city lots to see and do.Hotel service good and rooms good. Only complaint is the breakfast which was the same every morning and not very appealing with not much choice of food.

“Would stay there again”

Ideal central location,Trevi Fountain is a 5 min walk, good restaurants within the vicinity, main shopping areas 10 - 15 mins walk and a cracking British style pub called the Albert a few mins from the hotel.

“Convenient Location”

Hotel conveniet located - rooms are clean and comfortable for a 3 star hotel. Very close to Spanish Steps and shopping area.

“Location is good”

Room was small, would have been cramped exept for great use of space. All bathroom fixtures were new, but water pressure was poor (sometimes unacceptably so) and the water was not always sufficiently hot for showering. The hotel is walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, and only a block from the Quirinale. The Barberini Fountain and a Metro stop are two blocks away. A fine arts center is across the street.

“Great location”

The hotel location was very handy. We walked everywhere from there - even the Coliseum + the Vatican. The train station was also a short walk. The hotel service was very friendly. They recommended some great restaurants - we really enjoyed the Grill + Wine restaurant that is on the way to the Trevi fountain for a nicer dinner. Our room facing the alley was very quiet, clean, and cool. The breakfast was in line with others at the various hotels we stayed. We found the small store nearby to be helpful in saving money on drinks and snacks.

The Hotel is European-very simple:no frills. We did not like the breakfast-it is the typical continental served everywhere but it was substandard. The hotel is in a great location-can walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps...we even walked to the Coliseum (my youngest is 10) For simple lodging with ac that worked and no bathroom issues this was just what we wanted.

“central hotel”

This is an extremely convenient hotel for those who wish to see Rome as it should be seen i.e. on foot. It provides a comfortable base within walking distance of the major sites, is very close to Barberini metro station, and is an easy distance from Termini and all forms of transport from there. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable when we got back sweaty and tired from our sight-seeing. After a rest we were close to the restaurants of the Trevi area or Barberini for refuelling for the next day. Our room was at the front but shutters and double glazing kept out the noise and the air conditiioning did not rattle as some do. Recommended for those who really want to explore the city and surrounding area. Only grump was that the safe didn't work and TV had only one channel. But we weren't there to watch TV!
