“hotel rimini- excellent value and location”
Small 400 year old hotel. Clean, inexpensive, located next to main train station and metro stops. 1/2 block plus up to 1 block inside the train station depending upon wher you want to go. Train and Metro are easy to use after the ist attempt. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly but not pushy. Breakfast was good with a wide choice available. Walking distance to many sites. Elevator was small and creaky but great after a long day of sight seeing. Aircondioning at no extra charge. Not 5 star, but a great place to stay and sightsee from.
“Very good value for money”
Excellent breakfast, good location to get buses and trains to anywhere in Rome. Comfortable stay. Helpful staff.
“Cheap and cheerful!”
The Rimini was ideal for my husband and I being central and at walking distance to many of the main sights of Rome, and the Termini is around the corner for access to more distant areas. We found the hotel staff helpful , courteous and cheerful at all times, and we will certainly choose the Rimini when we return to Rome - we remembered to toss our coins in the Trevi Fountain.....!
“Would definitely use this hotel again if staying in Rome”
This hotel was excellent value for money, nice room and ensuite. Buffet breakfast had plently choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Location ideal for arrival by train from airport then getting around by public transport. Restaurant Donati round the corner was wonderful for evening meals. A great first trip to Rome.
“Very Convenient and Comfortable”
The Hotel Rimini's situation - literally a hop, skip and jump from Termini mainline station - makes it a boon. Our room was small, but comfortable, with an air-conditioner that worked well and cleanliness was first-rate. Breakfast was good and service thoughtful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay at a 'budget' rate, and needs transport around the city (the metro is recommended)and its environs. A nice touch on arrival was the map given by the attendant who circled places of interest for us. One question that puzzled me: What's the connection between the hotel and Rimini (on the Adriatic coast?).
“Great Base for Rome and Italy”
Hotel Rimini is an excellent place to base your stay in Rome. It's two minutes to the EuroStar train, giving you access to the other cities of Italy. The hotel desk staff were fluent in English and helpful with restaurant. There is a grocery store in the Termini train station, lower level, to purchase snacks and even dinner. Much cheaper than eating at the restaurants if you're on a budget. Subway and buses close by bring Rome to your door with ease. The hotel bathroom is small. If you're of large size, stay somewhere else. We stayed on 4th floor, soundproof windows. Elevator also is small. Two people, roll bags only. Otherwise it's one person and large suitcases. Breakfast was substantial, although no pancakes. No internet access, although for a euro per 30 minutes you can access an internet cafe just 25 feet from the front door. All in all, a good value based on what I heard from others staying in hotels around Rome.
“would recommend to friends”
spent 4 days in Rome and we wanted a central hotel for easy access to all the sights. I was a bit wary of booking everything online but I must say everything went very smoothly. reception staff were very friendly and helpful. room was of a good standard with air conditioning and satellite television. sheets and towels were changed daily and we had a lovely little terrace/balcony where we could chill out with a bottle of wine after a hard days sightseeing. breakfast was in general very good with eggs cereals and all the typical continental spread like croissants and meats etc. The main advantage of the hotel was the loation. although it is next to the termini station, we heard no noise at all at night and slept well. all in all a very nice little central hotel which is perfect for a short city break.
“Great location, good hotel”
Stayed October 2008..breakfast included means until they run out one hour into service. Maids enter rooms despite having do not disturb sign and will wait till you go out to snoop and clean..management very apologetic but no comfort if things go missing..great location, clean spacious room, overall will go back there again..lift is small but adequate for two aussies and three very big bags..desk staff good and 24 hour care means leaving the key and you don't lose it..
“Convenient and clean”
We were very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Rimini. Whilst the staff could have been a little more helpful this was only a minor complaint. The hotel is very convenient to the station and tourist buses and the room was clean and comfortable. Bonus was the size of the bathroom....it was enormous! Would most definitely stay there again.
“Impressed”
Good hotel, first class breakfast, convenient for transport links, decent restaurants nearby.
