“Excellent hotel”
An excellent hotel. Although a little outside the centre of Rome not too much of a problem as the hotel supplied a courtesy bus. The bus ran regularly throughout the day on a first come first served basis. Breakfast was included and was all you can eat buffet style. A very good range of foods. The hotel prices in the bar and restuarant were a little steep but I suppose thats what you expect from a 4 star hotel. My fiancee and I were very satisfied with this hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
“Gem of a hotel”
Very nice hotel located outside of the city center. They have a shuttle bus that leave the hotels about 8 times a day and drops you off in the city center. Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable staff.
“highly recommended”
Excellent clean and friendly hotel, shuttle bus worked very well and was very punctual and on time! Would happily recommend this hotel, although it is a far bit away from the main attractions it is very peaceful and the ideal location to be to relax after a long day sightseeing!
“Great Place”
Well we just got back from our honeymoon and spent an entire 2 weeks at the hotel. It was fantastic. Even though it is located outside the center of Rome they offer the bus to and from the city 8 or 9 times a day and it was never even close to full. We rode the shuttle bus at each time and not once ran into problems. They drop you off about 3 blocks from the Vatican and St. Peter's Plaza. We walked every where and loved it. The staff were the best I have ever encountered from top to bottom. They cleaned the room 2 times a day and even turned down the beds at night. Always clean and smelling good. The reception staff answered all my questions and I had a ton. The speak and understand english very well so communication with everyone was easy. I would recommend this to be the first choice for any vacation because it has a great pool, nice surroundings, and it is away from all the noise of the city.
“Hotel away from the City core”
My husband and I think this hotel is quite nice to stay even though it is located at some distance from many attractions. It is clean and modern. Also, hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Above all the food was good. However, we had hard time finding the hotel coming from the downtown Rome. Since the hotel provides a shuttle service to a subway station, it is better for a traveller to take subway to downtown Rome. Overall we were quite satisfied with this hotel.
“a quiet and relaxing oasis from busy hectic rome”
The staff was friendly and helpful-english no problem!Rooms were large-quiet and comfortable-and very clean.Convenient free shuttle bus runs hourly to within one block of the vatican and metro.Buffet breakfest offered a huge variety of food-a must for a busy day of sightseeing. The swimming pool was a great break fom sightseeing .Very-very pleased--truly a 5 star hotel.very highly recommended!!!!!
“Outside of Rome, but quite excellent”
Don't let the distance scare you. The free shuttle bus takes you into town every day. It's a large, air conditioned, comfortable bus and was never full. It drops you off near one of the Metro stops so you have easy access. The hotel was awesome. Clean, friendly people, and welcoming. The food is quite expensive, so plan accordingly.
“very impressed with this hotel”
Stayed in March 09 and was very impressed with the hotel, didn't look very impressive on the drive towards it but once inside it they were very welcoming and helpful. The actual room was larger than we expected with a very large bed for us and rollaway bed for my partners daughter. Breakfast was buffet with a good selection. Free coach into town which was prompt and a money saver. Chap in gift shop was very helpful and kind to us. 5 nights wasn't enough time to take everything in such a manic expensive city. Would like to say thanks to reception and even the chambermaid for making this such an enjoyable holiday.
“Great Hotel”
This hotel was a fantastic bargain. Staff were lovely and breakfast the best we've had in Europe. The shuttle bus gets very busy at high season (we went August 08) and you do have to turn up around half an hour early to be sure of a place in the evening. The only gripe is the terrible cost of food and drinks at the Hotel (5 pounds for a plate of chips at the bar!). Buy out and bring in.
“One of the best on our trip”
The hotel is on the west outskirts of Rome. A shuttle takes you into Rome at a metro stop. The hotel was very nice, spatious, with a beautiful pool and a great view from our room. The staff did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one.
