“Satisfactory return visit”

Having stayed at Frontier Motel in February 2010, I was prepared for its "Good for the Price" accomodations, even its location rather too far north on Roswell's Main Street for my purposes, visiting the Roswell Museum and Art Center, also the Roswell Public Libary (even closer to downtown). > Frontier's enclosed courtyard ensures quiet atmosphere despite its location on Roswell's busy Main Street. The swimming pool was being enjoyed by a group of younger people but their enthusiasm was barely noticeable, even from outside my room.

“Roswell (NMx) Alternative”

Roswell Symphony players stay at Days Inn, but in mid-Feb 2010, an art workshop had me try out Frontier. The accomodations, overall, compared favorably with Days Inn. Ground-floor rooms -- no toting suitcases up stairwells! Tucked away in a courtyard just off Main Street, Frontier's rooms provided a quiet Saturday night. > The simple but adequate breakfast lacked Days Inn biscuits 'n gravy, and waffles, but the price difference made up for that. Located in the 3000 block of N. Main, Frontier's location was a bit further distant from Museum and Art Center, but that placed Frontier closer to Roswell Mall and Super Wal-Mart. > I've used places on W. 2nd Street as an alternative overnight motel but Frontier will be my choice in the future.

“Danger!”

When entering the room, the air conditioner was left off the whole day. Roswell was in the 100's on that day, and it took hours for the room to cool down. The bathroom was disgustingly old and dirty. I hated to take a shower in it the next day.

“Could of been better”

Moved 2 times: 1st room was not cleaned so move to 2nd room got into 2nd room and i wish i would of pald the extra 20.00 at another hotel to get a room that is at least clean. First thing i said is i didnt bring my flip flops to take a shower .( shower was scary dirty!) Third room was better i think they need to invest in some paint and a better cleaning service. I will not stay there again.

“Very "cheap" hotel, not what you would normally expect from Expedia”

This is a one story typical cheap hotel. It does have a pool, but there was a significant amount of dirt in it. The room was hotter than a 2 dollar pistol when we got there. The A/C was either on or off, so I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off and on to regulate temperature. The shower had hair in it when we got there. Bed wasn't bad.

The motel described was not even close to what they said it would be.

This motel needs to be cleaned up. It is very run down and had stained carpet and tile in bathroom. Bathtub was so bad I wore my flip flops in it to take a shower. I am very sorry I booked this and will not go back. We even came home a different route to get a better choice of hotrels

“Not exaggerating! Don't stay here!”

Never in my life have I checked out of a motel early. Before this. I reserved a non-smoking room, which was obviously a smoking room that had been "converted". It reeked. There was oil (I hope) on the sheets, mold growing on the shower tiles, the shower drain had been ripped out and re-glued with some kind of tar. The non-slip shower mat wasn't sealed, so it's hard telling how much mold was under it. Tiles were busted in the shower, the shower head was clogged with mineral buildup, hair all over the floor and shower. Got that cleaned up, got in the shower and RAN OUT OF HOT WATER. Pillows were 1" thick and lumpy. I was scared to look for bed bugs, but if the cleanliness of the room was any indication.... Checked out at 11:00 am and was told that I would be charged for that night as well because I didn't give a 24 hour notice. Front desk attendant was rude and unhelpful. I would recommend spending a few extra dollars and staying somewhere else. Anywhere else.
