“Oasis in the mountains”
The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is conviently located to take in all sites and shops of Ruedoso. This place was a great value for the money.
“Great stay”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wal-mart is just down the road. I liked that there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The hotel was very clean. It seemed new. Pets are welcome, even though we didn't bring our dog. There were warm cookies and dog treats available in the lobby. Overall, excellent hotel, would stay here again.
“Very Pleased”
We stayed at the hotel next door last trip. This was MUCH better. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool. Good coffee and continental breakfast.
“getaway from Xmas craziness”
We were met by a very capable young man at the desk, who apologized for the tardiness of our room not being ready. I can understand appliance breakdowns, but when we walked into the room and saw the extreme cleanliness, it didn't matter that towels were late being delivered to the room. I couldn't hear my neighbors--a good thing. Housekeeping staff were efficient, cordial and well mannered. All employees showed high degree of professionalism. A very good stay.
“Would stay there again”
I normally do not stay overnight in Ruidoso since I only live 2.5 hours away. I was there for a 3 day business meeting. Because there are so many things around the area, I am planning a trip back for a weekend get-away. Defnitely will stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Ruidoso Downs. Had a very good experience.

“Fantastic for the price.”
Fantastic location to the city of Ruidoso and out lying areas....Place of the Lincoln County Wars with the legendary Billy the Kid (William Bonney). Also close to fort Sutton the Original fort of the Buffalo Soldiers..much to see and take in in the beautiful city and if you go in the winter also skiing available. Deer and wild Turkeys all over the place...what a great place.

The hotel employees were helpful and the rooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast was great to have. Very convenient so we could get on our way up the mountain.

Very clean & comfortable! Breakfast was very well maintained, didn't have to wait for replenishments.
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel was so nice that we almost stayed an extra day on our trip just to relax.
