“very good”
Rooms are good for the price. everything is close by and the staff is very friendly. their room with jacuzzi is very big. will return
“Best Bargain in Sacramento!!!”
As an evening law student who lives in the Bay Area, I have several occasion each year when I need to spend one or two nights in Sacramento and a need to keep costs down. Of all the hotels I've tried in the area, this is definitely the best value. It is clean, and well maintained and the location can't be beat. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful. The area is quiet. The free wireless internet is a great addition. I had no problems connecting. Room was a bit small, but easily manageable and a fantastic value at the price. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers in the area.
“Close to capital”
If you want to stay really close to the capitol with out paying a lot for a motel room, this is it. It is clean, well kept and it looks like they are trying to do some upgrades on the place. But it is about five minutes from the capitol and probably cost a third of the expensive hotels down town. The neighborhood is safe and fairly clean.
“Inexpensive, comfortable and clean,”
The Inn is surprisingly clean and well maintained considering the cheap price. Hotel staffs were customer oriented. However, do not expect that it's 1st class facility but one thing is assured that the amount you pay for this is inn will be worth every centavo. comfortable, complete basic amenities, changes towels daily, clean restroom, fairly big room, comfortable bed and cheap price!!

“Pleasantly Surprised”
We booked this little hotel because it was the closest within walking distance to Raley Field where KISS was having a concert. We flew in from New York and we never, ever stay at small little hotels such as this one and we were very skeptical. Didn't expect much at all and were nervous about what we would find. We were pleasantly surprised how lovely it was. The room was spotless, the air conditioning was wonderful, and the cable TV was better than some big chain hotels. We even got a microwave and reftrigerator which we don't get at the big chains. The only thing I would change is BETTER PILLOWS!!.....PLEASE!!! We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Go ahead and book this little hotel, you will be pleased and you will have quite a bit of pocket change left over to spend having fun in Sacramento!! Just ask for better pillows.
“Looking forward to going back”
The hotel that my husband and I stayed in was very pleasant and clean. The location was good. It was close to the freeways and had a variety of restuarants near by. I am planning another trip to Sacramento next month and will be staying at Capitol Travel Inn. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Great value for the money”
No pool was the only disappointment. Easy on and off freeway. Clean rooms. Our room had fridge and microwave and a small bedroom (not adjoining) the bathroom was small, but had a large mirrored sink area that was separate. It was a great deal for the price.
“Good value. Always stay here when in Sacramento”
We often have to stay in Sacramento for personal or business travel. We have stayed in this motel at least 10 times over the past few years. It's an excellent value. No frills. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are always clean. I have learned to bring my own pillow. On the most recent trip, I actually used the iron and ironing board in the room. The TV is a little tricky to navigate because they have Direct TV satellite. It would help if they had instructions in the room, but once you figure out how to use it - they have HBO, etc. The location is quiet and in a decent area of West Sacramento. EASY access to Old Sacto, frewway, downtown. Really, you can't beat it for the price. We have never had a bad experience here.
“nice hotel”
The room was clean and bigger than I expected. The hotel is not far from the airport though we did get mixed up with Rte. 80 and business Rte 80. Just double check your map and you will be fine.
