“Nice Hotel, but a bit noisy”

Hotel was very easy to find. Staff was friendly. Neighborhood was a bit scary, but we didn't have any problems. (It was better in daylight) Room was very spacious and much more than I expected for the price. Hotel is close to Int 5 so traffic can be noisy. Left the fan on all night. It drowned out most of the noise. Caught the tail end of continental breakfast but it seemed average. Relaxing that it was in it's own room rather than attached to the lobby. Very close to Old Sacramento and the Railroad museum. Within 5 min.

“Was Better Than We Expected”

After hiking all day with 12 boyscouts, the room was comfortable and clean, hot tub was a BIG plus, and continental breakfast was adequate (cereal, milk, coffee, juice, pastries and english muffins). Good restaurant across from the McDonalds next door. Downside---near industrial area, and there was a homeless camp on the other side of the wall around the parking lot! HOWEVER, there is also a police station right next door to the homeless camp. We had no problems, just a little nervous, and the news talked about how the town was going to be moving the camp. Employees said that they had never had a problem with the homeless folk in 15 years. MUST ADMIT that after hiking 5 miles a day with a bunch of teenage boyscouts, the hotel was like a home away from home when we retired for the night!

“Always a Pleasure”

I've been to this hotel twice and each time i've never been disappointed. The quickie breakfast is enjoyable, the helpers are friendly and the front desk workers are helpful. When I return to Sacramento again , for sure I'd like to stay at this hotel again !

my room was up on the 3rd floor facing the trees and a rather quite street, so i was very happy that the place wasn't loud and bothersome, i love quiet ! air conditioner work perfect.... 3 HBO channels.... bed new and comfortable, public computer in lobby, maid service very friendly.... yeah, i'd recommend

“i recommend it”

I was in Sacramento for just 2 days and got a room at this hotel. The room was not that big but comfortable and had everything necessary and working (fridge, tv, phone, micro). I got the queen bed and it was confortable but a little small. overall i would recommend this hotel. the area was good even at night. The only thing i would complain about would be the noise outside due to the repairs being done on the 5 fwy while we stayed there. The hotel is right by the fwy. other than that i would stay here again.

“Nice Place To Stay”

After having one bad experience with this hotel we decided to give it another try as it is very convenient to where we wanted to go. We were impressed with the service this time...the room was nice and clean and kept that way by the staff. The bed was very comfy and the pillows nice and fluffy. We will most likely head back again to this one when we are in the area....thanks for everything!

“Great service, old motel”

The service staff was nice, friendly, helpful. The room was clean & maintained. Unfortunately, the free WiFi worked only in the lobby. Also, in the room you could hear everything through the walls. There is a street on the north side of the motel, and it was busy & noisy all night, so maybe ask for a south-facing room.

“mean staff”

the person at the check in counter was extremely rude. I would have chosen a different hotel. the only good thing about the hotel is that it is only a few freeway exits, or about 1-2 miles away from everything.
