"If you stay there, make sure you get the access code to the room along with the actual key they give up. There is no way to contact the managers outside the times the motel office is closed. Because I had only the physical key and forgot it before going out, I had to stay in my car all night because this happened 20 minutes after the office closed for the night. I left voicemail, a text message, and two messages through the Expedia message feature. None of those attempts worked. Salida is a nice town so I didn't worry much about my safety but not having anyway to get in touch with managers to get into my unit was unacceptable. It ruined the day I had planned! The property shows the wear of its age but it was clean and well maintained. I did have a few ants and a fly or two. There is road noise and vibrations from Hwy 50."
