The hotel was great and service as well, we also enjoyed having breakfast. I would plan to stay here again.

“Good hotel for amazing price”

I stayed at the Laurel Inn Motel 2 nights and enjoyed the staff and the hotel. I stayed in a non-smoking room that smelled in the entry way like someone had smoked but the smell passes after you step threw the doorway. I notified the hotel and immeaditely they asked if I wanted to change rooms. Considering me and my girlfriend were only sleeping there we stayed there. But just the initial no questions asked and will change suprised me. The pool and spa are fantastic though the spa doesnt have bubbles. the sauna is a dry sauna. The beds comfy but not the comfiest and they used two twin box springs to support the queen mattress but the beds was easy to fall asleep on. The continental breakfast rocks and is by far close to my top of list of hotels that have the best continental breakfast. The location is not only easy to find but centralized. its easy to get to monterey when you know the route, and the salinas mall isnt far away either. I would definitly stay here if you are planning a trip to monterey and wanting to use hotel as a "crash pad" just get used to the 15-20 minute drive to monterey. 4.5 stars out of 5. Great for on the budget. Definitly will stay here in the future.

“Would stay there again”

This hotel room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was just across the freeway from many restaurants and stores and one offramp from a mall. The Black Bear Inn is across the parking lot from the hotel.

The room was nice and the continental breakfast was excellent. I would stay there again. Easy access to places around them.

I was very happy with the cleanliness, and the lack of noise inside the room, even with the room being so close to the freeway. The staff was friendly and the hot tub was great!

“On my way up California”

I made this reservation while on a road trip, without much advance planning, just based on TripAdvisor and Expedia reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The facilities are clean and quiet with comfortable accommodations. The check-in process was efficient. And it was right off the freeway so we could get back to our road trip in no time. I would definitely stay here again if I ever do another road trip.

“Salinas Secret”

The Laurel Inn is a gem. Very clean and cozy. They always have cookies at the check-in desk...quaint. Jacuzzi and pool are kept clean all year round.

“Nice place to stay”

Laurel Inn was a nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Their continental breakfast room was staffed and cleaned constantly. Only glitch was that we'd requested a handicap accessible room and they did not have one left available when we checked in. They did, however, provide first floor room and shower stool.

The staff was efficient and friendly and offered delicious cookies at check-in. Our room was spotless and the hotel grounds were well maintained. The continental breakfast was adequate. The hotel is located close to a nearby mall and restaurants, and it is an easy access to the Interstate Hwy. It is a good value and we would definitely stay again.

I was impressed with the Laurel Inn. It is located right off of the freeway and only blocks from a shopping mall and several popular restaurants including a good restaurant next door. The hotel was clean and comfortable and we would definately stay there next time we visit family in the area.
