“Best location in SLC”
This is the best location, easy access to everything. The restaurant is great, too. Parking is handy.

I like this hotel because everything was close. I did not drive at all to go the place I wanted to.

Our stay at the Plaza was wonderful. It was right where we needed to be. The atmosphere was elegant, but very laid back and inviting. I plan to go back to Salt Lake in the future and will definitely stay at the Plaza when I do.
“An Elegant Hotel with a Family Home Feel”
I have never been to Salt Lake City before in my life, and I am lucky that I at least knew someone who lived there, but even he had never been inside of hotels. So, I picked this hotel without really looking at pictures but just going by proximity. When I arrived I was impressed with the room and I had a wonderful view of the capitol building and the rocky mountains. Although the room is a little small for two people I felt it had character. It was like being back at home where you grew up. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very hospitable. Coming from the east staying at this hotel was a welcomed change of pace.
“So convenient & comfortable”
I enjoyed the modern room decor, the unbelievably comfortable bed/linens, and the location made it convenient to see the sights in downtown Salt Lake City. The bathroom was spacious, too, and the refrigerator and microwave were a nice surprise. There were even two sinks, one inside the bath and one outside. The airport shuttle also makes staying at the Plaza convenient. On the downside, for such a lovely hotel, it doesn't seem out of the question to accept both shampoo and conditioner in the room. The combined version just doesn't cut it.
“very close to conference center”
the bed was the most comfortable of any hotel I've slept in. the micro and fridge were great. the only negative was the air conditioner - way too loud!
“Great Hotel experience”
The hotel let us check in early and stay late, kept the rooms very clean, had a exercise room that was very nice and gave us a paper each day. We stayed here last year and will stay here again!

The staff was friendly, the location was absolutely the best in downtown SLC. I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I go to SLC.
