“Enjoyed our stay very much.”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was superb--right in the middle of the Pelourinho District and steps away from the St. Francis Church. Food was outstanding and plentiful. We ate only one lunch there but it was delicious and reputed among two French expats we knew to be the best place to dine. This is mostly a tourist and leisure accommodation. It was not too convenient to work in because it was not furnished to make work a priority. Wifi throughout the hotel but had trouble with speed and connection. Would return in a minute and intend to do so.
“Very Pleasant Stay, Recommended.”
Beatutiful architecture, excellent location. You will be on a historical square, note the amazing stone cross in the Cruzeiro de Sao Francisco. Yes, there are beggers and a few teenagers sleeping on the sidewalks in the historical Pelourinho but I did not feel a real danger.
“Great hotel very central”
Spent 7 nights in the Hotel Villa Bahia which is right at the centre of the old, historic part of Salvador, Brazil. Staff very friendly, English spoken, the hotel occupies two historic buildings, very beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable. Not the cheapest but recommended for comfort, security and convenience for visiting Pelhourina, the 18th century colonial historic part of town.
