“Reasonable hotel”
Located in a relatively quiet and comfortable place. Major historical atractions are within 20 minutes walking distance.
“A good find in Salzburg”
I was looking for cheap and cheerful. The Belmondo is that and more. Very clean, everything in good condition, receptionship was efficient, helpful and friendly. Nice roof top breakfast area in a small conservatory. 5 minute walk to old part of Salzburg. I would definaltey stay again if in Salzburg.

“Good Hotel”
Hotel Belmondo was very clean, nice, and had a great location. We didn't use the breakfast because our previous experience with European hotels and breakfast was less than desirable and it was 10 Euro's per person and it was much easier to find things to eat cheaper and better down the street. The hotel staff was very informative with things to see and do, provided a great city map, and made reservations for us for tours and dinner shows. We'll stay here again.
“Lovely Time”
We stayed at the belmondo for 3 days from 26th nov 09 and found staff to be extremely helpful, polite and friendly. the rooms were clean and the walk into the main part was along the river and very pretty. I was quite aprehensive after reading some of the reports on here but would go back and would recommend them to anyone. Breakfast was a little pricey but was convienent and nice.
“Lovely little hotel”
As I just said, Hotel Belmondo was a great little hotel for my sister and I. It was about a 10 minute walk from the centre of salzburg (either the Old town or the New town) and it was a safe area to be in. My only criticisms would be that a) the rooms need an extra pillow each, the pillows are really comfy but very flat! and b) that the 10 Euros for the breakfast was not really worth it- but the view from the restaurant was well worth it!
“Great Value”
I truly enjoyed my short stay here. The hotel was convenient to the main rail station and within convenient walking distance of the historic city center. As is common to areas around main rail station, the vicinity lacked a lot of the charm one associates with Salzburg, but we could walk to the nice areas in 5 to 10 minutes. The hotel itself was neat, clean, and had friendly staff. Our room room was quiet and actually had a bath tub, which I've found to be extremely rare in Europe.
“Great Location”
Hotel was only 10 minute walk frm train station, the staff was very helpful. We did not do the breakfast at the hotel so I can't review that. It was a 10-15 minute walk to old town which we enjoyed walking on the river. For a european hotel the bathroom was huge. It was clean and we would stay there again.
“Convenient Location”
Hotel is about 15 minutes walking distance from Salzburg main train station. We took the train from Munich to see the "Original Sound Of Music" with Panorama Tours. Hotel is comfortable, clean, spacious and we were in a quiet room. There is a restaurant next to the hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel, and will stay here again.
“Excellent value hotel”
This is an excellent value for money hotel. Staff very friendly. Our room was clean with plenty of cupboard space. The hotel is within easy walk to the old town Their is an very good Italian restaurant next door which the locals use- sure sign that it is good value.
