This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day.
The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
Among complimentary amenities are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; and hotel-wide wireless Internet access. There is also complimentary self parking and an area shuttle. Business services include 3 meeting rooms and a business center.
Rooms
All 126 guestrooms at this San Antonio hotel feature the Hyatt Grand Bed: Sealy Posturepedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; double down-surround pillows. Separated from the bed by a partial wall, the sitting area provides a queen sofa bed and desk.
42-inch, flat-panel, high-definition TVs allow guests to plug in laptops, MP3 players, and DVD players. Satellite channels include 11 channels of high-definition programming and SportsNet. Both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary; one of the two telephones is cordless.
Refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, and wet bars are included. Bathrooms provide granite countertops and Portico white-ginger scented bath amenities.

“this made our trip to San Antonio very enjoyable”
Hotel is very clean, convienent to malls and Sea World/Six Flags. Bed was very comfortable and was very well rested after our trip. The rates were very reasonable.

“Great San Antonio Hotel”
This hotel was perfectly located for our visit, although Texas Interstates and their signage can be a challenge. The hotel was everything advertised and then some. Great breakfast, fast, free Wi-Fi and a great big screen, Hi-def TV, made our stay very enjoyable. I will check for availability at this chain in the future.
“First hotel I will return to in a heart beat”
This hotel was fantastic. I usually have something I don't like about every hotel I stay in but not this one. The rooms are very large and have nice amenities. The staff is exceptional and even brought my son's mac and cheese right to our room even though they said they would call us when it was ready. The lobby area is inviting and has plenty of seating. The parking is great too (and free!). Next time I'm in San Antonio I will definitely stay here again.
“"Great Hotel...Breakfast needs work"”
This was a great hotel. There were more likes than dislikes so I'll just tell the dislikes. The bathroom (toilet&shower area) was really small. Since the door opens into the bathroom it was a little challenging to exit bathroom after taking a shower. The other thing that I didn't like so much was the free breakfast. The breakfast consisted of fruits, cerels, milk, juice, and some sort of bread item (bagel, muffin, toast). If you want eggs, sausage, etc., you have to order it at the breakfast bar = $. Other than those two things, everything else was great. pros- Big room, Flat screen TV, mini bar, Bed, living room area cons- Bathroom size & Breakfast
“Great Stay!!!”
My 8 year old son and I stayed for five nights. The hotel staff was great, very polite and was always right on top of taking care of customers needs. On our next trip to San Antonio we will be staying here again. Hotel was kept very clean at all times.
