“Can't wait to return!!”

Our room was on the first floor in the main house. It was nicely decorated and we had a separate room with a daybed and wardrobe. Our windows looked out on the riverwalk which was lovely. The breakfast was AWESOME!!! We were in town for a conference at Henry B, and we were closer than most of our friends. There is a cat that hangs out at the main house and we became friends. We were very sad to leave, but are going back in a couple of weeks!

The owners were the nicest folks and made you feel as if they would do anything for you....and they did. Great location.

“Inn on the Riverwalk”

We arrived for check-in at 11AM instead of 3PM as is normal. The Inn on the Riverwalk did not have our room ready, but was able to give us an upgraded room without charging us for an upgrade. That was great! The room was comfortable; Ihave no complaints with the room. Plus, the location is great--only about a 10 minute walk from the riverwalk. My only disappointment was that the breakfast was not very good. The next time I go back to San Antonio, I would consider staying here.

“Stellar”

We stayed in one of the more affordable rooms available at the Inn (Secret Garden Room), and it still exceeded our expectations. Very clean, quiet, and conveniently located on the southern end of the riverwalk (a pleasant and romantic 15 minute walk will get you to the main part of the riverwalk). The room we stayed in was smallish, but was extremely charming! Additionally, parking is free, and right next to the Inn. There's a reason why this place is rated so high - now we see why. We really wanted something besides a run-of-the-mill hotel room when we went, and that's what you'll get if you stay here - a lovely bed and breakfast with lots of character! We'll definitely be going back. BTW - in case you're concerned about private bathrooms (like my fiancee was), I believe they each have their own. Ours did, at least, and I think ours was one of the "budget" rooms.

“Will go again & stay same place.”

This bed & breakfast was my first and loved it. More homey than fancy. Short walk to all attractions and wonderful breakfast every morning. Free parking and small convienence store right around corner. I would stay there again.

excellent accommodation, very romantic with petals on the bed and jacuzzi tub! excellent service from staff and central location. Lovely!

“A Romantic Getaway”

Overall, an excellent value with a lot of character. Included breakfast was a great touch and was the perfect start to the day. The price was competitive with nearby hotels and offered added bonuses such as included parking, breakfast, chocolates in the room..... The room was clean and very unique with personal touches. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and would stay there again. Few small complaints: -the shower in our room was very small and the shower head was very low, my boyfriend is 6 ft and he was forced to duck for most of the shower. plus the hot water was limited -the lady at the front desk was pleasant but did not make the guests a priority. during both breakfast mornings and checkout she was meeting about potential weddings. maybe they should schedule these meetings in the afternoon and not during breakfast and checkout so you can be available for your current guests?

“A nice couples get away”

The location on the Riverwalk is great. It is quiet here, but you can walk 10 minutes to the busiest part of the Riverwalk. The staff was nice and the breakfast was really good.
