Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina is located eight miles from the San Diego Convention Center and San Diego's central business district. A sandy beach is less than a mile away. “Mission Bay Hyatt”
Very nice overall. The ocean had a foul smell occasionally, and alot of airport noise, but that is nobody's fault.

“girls get a way”
This was my first trip to San Diego, traveled with my 23 yr old daughter. Both of us were happy with everything about this hotel. We were upgraded to a suit with out charge and checkin was fast and friendly. All the staff were pleasent and helpful. Will be returning to San Diego again and would use this hotel again
“room comfort”
Bed was "grooved" and hard to sleep on without waking with a backache. Also "noisy" from pool below and we were 15 floors up.

We had some maintenance issues, upon notifying the front desk the concerns were immediately addressed. cleaning staff were excellent with one day being an exception. I was disappointed with $20/night parking fee. As a guest..one car should have free overnight parking. should a guest have multiple cars in the lot,then charge the $20 parking fee. Overall the stay @ the hotel was very satisfying. I would go back.
“Mission Bay Escape!”
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Hyatt Regency at the beginning of April and it couldn't have been at a better time. The weather was great, the hotel was fantastic, the bay was beautiful and clean, plus with Sea World so close it was well worth the stay. If you choose this hotel, use the valet parking, it's worth the extra 5 bucks to have them park it, plus they are speedy in getting your vehicle for you. One of the bellhops told us about the recent renovation that this hotel underwent and it shows. The grounds are lush and the atmosphere is relaxing. I really want to go back!
“Great location, great for families”
We stayed at the Hyatt Mission Bay Spa & Marina for our family Spring Break in March 2010. Great hotel!! It was a VERY nice hotel, upscale, with nice amenities. We stayed in the Waterfront Suites which allowed us 1 king bed in a back bedroom and our 2 kids slept on a pullout bed in the living area. We each had our own tv so it allowed us some downtime each night. Staff and concierge were very courteous and helpful. Tip: Concierge desk has discount tickets to local attractions- Sea World & Zoo were the ones we purchased. Pool was great! Kids loved the slides and heated pool. We spent one whole day just playing and lounging at the pool. Hotel is located very near Mission Beach and Sea World. Great "central" location for local attractions and beaches. We would definitely stay in the Mission Beach area again and definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend it!
