Recreation
The Manchester Grand Hyatt features Regency Spa & Salon on the third floor. Spa packages include access to the lap pool and spa tub. A 24-hour fitness room (surcharge) is on the fourth floor of the Seaport Tower, and also offers a sauna. A second outdoor swimming pool is on the fourth floor between the two towers and is surrounded by a sundeck, two spa tubs, and a fire pit. The hotel also offers 2 tennis courts and a children's club.

“Worth considering”
First class hotel - convenient location, excellent gym and pools, but in-hotel food and bars disappointing.
“Love the hotel, but pay to park???”
The only downer, paying $26/day to park in the hotel parking garage. I would think it would be free.

“A grand stay at the Grand Hyatt”
I was delighted to be greeted by such a friendly person at the front desk. He promptly informed me that he could upgrade our room and give us a wonderful view. He then asked us if we would like a roll-away at no extra charge for our daughter. The hotel is located next to a great walkway at Seaport Village and although we did not bring our dog, the hotel and the surrounding area is very pet-friendly. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable and it was very nice to have the self-parking easily accessible. We will be back.

The hotel was spectacular. The staff was great. So kind and helpfull. Just thought the parking garage fee was too high! Loved the view and the location.
“Oustanding Staff”
While the hotel itself is impeccable, we were most impressed with the staff, from front desk to bell staff to valets - everyone was great in offering suggestions for our brief stay in San Diego, and all were very helpful.
“Location of our room”
I reason I gave the "comfort of your room" a 4 was because our room wall was behind the elevator. All night we could hear the elevator going up and down. Didn't get the best night's rest we wanted.
“Nice staff, very clean and good location”
This hotel was beautiful and very posh. The service was excellent from the staff also. The location was wonderful with nice views. This hotel good for the business trip as well as for the family vacation. Anyone can enjoy the whole experience of the hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
“Save by parking off site”
After self-parking in the Hyatt parking location and exiting the next morning to sightsee, the attendant told us that the fee is $26/day whereas we thought it was $26 total for the four nights we would be there. So, we decided to park at the Ampco System Parking Lot 1035 located at First and Island Streets just a short walk south from the Hyatt and across from the Marriott Hotel. Fee is $7 from 5 PM to 7 AM. You can also return during the day if desired and park for $8 prior to 5 PM. Since we were gone during the day and only needed to park at night we spent $21 for the remaining 3 nights instead of $78 at the Hyatt. We could have taken a taxi from the airport and back to the airport for about $30 RT and not rented a car for the entire period. Could have used the trolley which does go to most of the places we visitied. Car rental for the 4 days was over $200 since they charge a full day's rent if part of a day is included.
