“For someone on a budget...almost.”
As a student, I was surprised by the quality of the hotel and the room. When I bought the ticket with the hotel, I figured, for something that affordable, I was not expecting the rooms to be that great! I loved the room, and there was so much space! The only thing I didn't realized was that the the wifi was not free, fault on my part for not knowing it.
“T”
Building itself has an odd setup. Lobby is on 12th floor. Different elevator banks are confusing. Better signage would help. Parking in building is a nightmare and overly expensive.
“Nice hotel for families.”
This is the third time I have stayed here. The staff are extreemely accomodating. We stayed on the Pure floor this time since my wife who has allergies came with me. With aircleaner in the room she was happy. Bedding and the room was generally very clean. They brought us a mini fridge as requested to keep food for our toddler. The restaurant and room service folks are also great and go out of their way to provide for you. Parking at $23 a day was a bit stiff but I have to admit very convenient, especially if you are going to the zoo, parks, Legoland, etc.
“51st”
Great Staff and central location. Great view of SD
“Loved It!!!!!!”
This is a fantastic hotel. This was my partner and my first visit to San Diego and the location of the hotel enabled us to literally get everywhere in the city. It's in the Gaslamp District which is surrounded by great food, nightlife, activities, etc, minus the street noise! Loved it. (MLK Holiday Weekend 2012)
“Sheraton Symphony Hall - Great hotel”
Good location, liked the larger suite style room. Having coffee and tea in the room was wonderful in the morning. It would be nice to have had a mini-continental breakfast included in the price, even a bagel. The bar staff was very nice and we even got food at 10:45pm when we came in from our tourist adventures. It's a nice short walk to Gaslamp District, to Little Italy, Balboa Park, and the San Diego waterfront. The pool was closed for cleaning so we didn't get to use it but liked the skylights.
“Great hotel”
I've stayed here twice now, and definitely recommend it. Nice suites, comfortable beds. Very helpful and friendly staff. And the hotel is reasonably priced and walkable to everything in downtown San Diego. A great choice.
“Definitely a place to stay in downtown San Diego”
