“Friendly and very help staffs.”
Friendly and very help staffs. Next to freeways but very quiet.
“Great Customer Service”
We go there midweek, and they offerred us a larger room at the same price. Then the remote for the tv would not work. So while they were trying to solve the problem. My wife jokingly said, if you want you can bring a bigger tv. When we came back from the pool, and jacuzzi, there was a bigger tv. We have stayed here before and have noticed the property is always being kept up. We enjoyed the hot waffles, the closeness to Old Town for Taco Tuesday, and Humphrey's for Happy Hour. We'll keep coming back.
“Wafflehouse”
Nice little Motel for visiting San Diego for a few days. Breakfast with waffle is just for wafflefans. Hübsches kleines Motel für eine mehrtätgige Stipvisite in San Diego.
“Would most defiinitely use this hotel for future plans”
I had originally considered Motel 6 but wanted to provide something a little more upbeat for my sister and her family, so - I picked the Vagabond Inn. I was still a little apprehensive until I stepped into the room - it had more ammenities than mentioned in their advertising - microwave and refrigerator...my sister and her family were equally happy with the hotel and mentioned that they wouldn't mind going back in the future.
“Nice place”
For the money, it's a good place. It was comfortable and had evrything I was looking for, hot tub, fridge with freezer, micro, king size bed, parking within 6 ft of my room, breakfast and location.

Recently remodeled. Great family destination for the family on a budget. Excellent value for the money.

“Extremely Satisfied”
Extremely satisfied with the Vagabond Inn, which is conveniently located just a few minutes drive away from San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were delighted to be able to utilize the fridge and microwave provided. There is a convenience/liquor store within easy walking distance from the hotel. Also located within a short driving distance you can find a Ralph's grocery store, and a Trader Joe’s. Staff was friendly throughout and accommodated our request for a late check out (12 noon) without an additional charge. Would definitely return to this hotel and gladly recommend it to others.
“Will Return”
This was an incredible deal. Very nice facility, including rooms. Was clean, tidy and comfortable. The free breakfast was great. Much nicer than a lot of hotels offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. Swimming pools were clean and warm. Internet service was no problem. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the San Diego area. One little glitch - there are no extra electric plugs in the room. Everyone is taken for what they provide and they are hard to get to.
