The 26-story Westin San Diego offers 436 guestrooms which, because of the hotel's unusual shape, have varying layouts and views. Guestrooms were renovated in 2007.

This Westin features the Heavenly Bed and Bath collection. The Heavenly Bed consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter (bedspread) and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow).

The Heavenly Bath consists of a dual showerhead with multiple spray options; curved shower rod for extra room; white-on-white shower curtain; velour, waffle-weave bathrobes; and oversized Brazilian combed-cotton bath towels.

Rooms are outfitted with oversized desks and ergonomic chairs. Cordless, multi-line phones have voice mail. Rooms offer wireless and wired high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Amenities include cable TV, refrigerators and coffeemakers.

“Good experience”

Good location. NIce and friendly staff. Parking was way too expensive, but there a public parking lot across the street for half the hotels price. There was a small deli outside the hotel that had very good breakfast and very good prices.

“Excellent Stay!”

Excellent and helpful staff whose recommendations were bang on. 10 min walk to the shopping area, 15 min down to the Boardwalk and Convention Centre. Very convenient. Loved free apples on the floor, 2 free bottles of water every day, happy hour drinks in the lounge, inspirational glass elevators, 24 hour fitness centre and lap pool, Starbucks in the building and very good gift shop. Would have liked free Wi-Fi... but otherwise EXCELLENT. Good value for the Bay View Suites.

“GREAT!”

This hotel was great. Friendly service, GREAT location. Rooms and views were amazing. My only gripe was that there are 2 Westins. If you are looking for this one using a GPS you should know it is a WEST Broadway address, but the best way is to navigate to Columbia street because you can't access parking from the West Broadway side...but I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel

“Can't go wrong”

Very good location, close to waterfront, Gaslamp area, public transportation - very quiet, beds to die for, Starbuck's coffee in the room, plus a Starbuck's down in the lobby, very accomodating staff, free airport shuttle, dual showerheads for a great shower experience, fruit infused waters in the lobby - very nice touch............would stay there again without thinking twice - suitable for all ages......Joy

“Great location!”

This was our first time staying at this hotel and it’ll be the one we stay at from now on. We were so impressed by the location of the hotel with many restaurants and clubs in walking distance and a short drive to Seaport Village. We loved the whole downtown feeling of it. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I forgot to bring my own pillow, but didn’t even miss it. The room was very clean and we loved the double shower heads!

“westin stay”

I loved This hotel! Very nice staff, very convenient location, but would've enjoyed a better view from my room for the price. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others. The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't do a late check out.

“Absolutely fabulous and will go back again!”

The Westin San Diego Hotel and staff were absolutely fabulous. Our stay with them could not have been more enjoyable and they made my grandchildren feel like they were very important. I think my grandson Ben will never forget the wonderful experience.
