Clean, updated, spacious room, great facilities in the bathroom- I was pleasantly impressed for sure. I highly recommend it!

“Handy and Comfortable”

Handy location. Room was comfortable. Swimming pool well maintained and comfortable for swim. Continental breakfast: orange juice sub-standard, a bit watery; sweet rolls slightly unsatisfactory, a bit too dough-y; cold cereal OK; toast, no comment, not eaten; overall continental breakfast experience: satisfactory, to the expectations. Wake up machine was not working, but I woke up by myself, so not a problem. Hospitableness of office staff: very nice. Overall experience: very nice.

“Days Inn Redwood City”

Sam the Manager was extremely helpful. Nice little quite hotel reasonably priced.

If you need a clean place to sleep while in the Redwood City area that's functional and clean, this place is a bargain.

“BAD MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE”

We stayed two nights at this establishement. Upon arrival we asked for one additional pillow and one additional towel and they would not provide them. The following day when we arrived back to our room, the wet towels were gone and the room had not been made up at all. No one was at the managers desk, you had to call a phone number and they would call you back and tell you to meet them in the office. We, again asked for additional towels. We had 5 people in the room, 2 adults and 3 children. I was given only three towels and told there were no more. He also told me my children were misbehaved because they did not stay in the room. Three towels to dry off from the pool and shower the next morning for 5 people . I was not happy with this action on the part of the manager/owner so I had my husband go down to speak with him. He was able to find us a few more towels and appologized to my husband. I felt this owner had no respect for women and had my husband not been there, we would have had to go without what I consider to be essentials in a hotel room. Apparantly, the common area with pool and lawn is met to be looked upon only and not enjoyed by guests. I will not stay at this location again and would recommend that anyone with children or single mothers do the same.

“Lots to be desired”

Rooms not secure--no security lock on the sliding door--in the first room we stayed in. They did move us. There were drugs being used above us and the police and cannine units were there. Sex and porn shops in the immediate neighborhood. Limited linens. One of the days when we returned there were no hand towels, wash cloths or bath mats. 2 bath towels is all. The breakfast was adequate and nicely presented. The staff changed often and it was difficult to get response to any requests. Our sister was in ICU in very critical condition and the hotel accomodations did not make our time in Redwood City any less trying. Overall, we would NOT stay there again and were surprised to find that a Day's Inn would be in such poor condition as we've stayed in wonderful Day's Inns before. My sister is writing a personal letter to Day's Inn Hotels.

The staff was rude, the room was not very clean. Not impressed!
