“FOUR SEASONS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN SAN FRANCISCO!”
ok...i'll make this one short and sweet. It was clearly one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. Please keep in mind, I am in sales and spend about 2 weeks per month in hotels. Basically the Four Seasons is able to provide a very sophisticated, 4 diamond hotel, without the arrogance you get at some hotels in that price range. Everyone from the doorman to the folks that cleaned our room, were attentative to our needs, very friendly, down to earth and just overwhelmingly concerned that we have a great stay in San Francisco. We can't wait to go back. And concierges there is over the top. They kept our nights scheduled with everything from comedy show to concert tickets and arranged all of our dinner reservations. It was the most relaxing property we've every stayed at and keep in mind my boyfriend has been in the hotel/restaurant management business for over 30 years, so he is not easy to impress. Yes, it is a bit pricy, but the decor, food, service, location and hospitatlity made it totally worth it. And with the price I got on Expedia, it was not near as much as the standard rate would have normally been. They have a customer now for life. If you can go for a day or a week, do not miss this property. You won't want to leave!
“very nice hotel”
Extremely satisfied with the hotel!! nice location too... close to shops and interesting places...
“!!”
Loved the room, loved the service, loved the convenient location...will definitely stay there again whenever we go back to SF.
“5 star hotel with 5 star prices to match, will try something else next time”
No coffee machine in room I realize this is a 5 star hotel but paying 60-70 dollars for breakfast was a turn off for my wife and me. Next time I will look for free or cheaper breakfast or maybe a hotel room with a small kitchen. Service was great, the staff were wonderful. It is on Market Street.........not a good street as far as the bums around there. Next time we'll get a hotel with a better view of the Bay.
“Great hotel”
Nice Lobby, room and Gym
“Great Pick”
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Four Seasons for four nights in November. The hotel is in a great location, and has all the amenities we required, including one of the biggest and best gyms I have ever had the pleasure of working out in. The food at the bar was lovely, and the service was great (but not perfect). Note: If you ask for a room with a view, make sure you specify that the "view" you want is not of the air conditioning vents. Ugly! Aside from that - everything was up to par.
“Beautiful Hotel”
As well as expected.... Can't wait to go back.
“Perfect location - made my husband's birthday extra special!”
We had a wonderful stay at The Four Seasons. The entire staff was gracious and accomodating. We loved the menu in the lounge - we ended up eating dinner in the lounge for three nights of our weeks stay. The gym facilities were awesome - helped us to work off some of the delicious food we had at the hotel. The location is perfect - central to everything there is to do in San Francisco. When checking in I mentioned we were celebrating my husband's birthday. On the night before his birthday they sent an incredible birthday desert to our room - a very nice touch to an incredible stay.
“Reliable and excellent quality. But food & coffee at the cafe in the gym is not great”
My second stay here and I will use this hotel again.
“Beautiful hotel, wonderful service.”
You can tell its a 5 star hotel. Super clean, delicious beds, big TV. It is located about 1 block from Union Square where all the nice stores are and 4 blocks from Chinatown. Walking distance to almost everything.
