I accidentally booked the wrong date for my stay and didn’t notice until it was past the cancelation window. However, I still wanted to stay at the hotel, just one night later than the original booked date. Therefore, I wasn’t asking for a refund or for them to cancel anything but they refused and still charged me for a night I couldn’t use.
To make things worse, they tried to say they were completely booked for the night in question, but a simple search found that to be nothing more than a lie.
They care more about sticking to their “policies” than they do good customer service. They could have easily accommodated my request (despite it being my mistake) at zero cost to them, but refused to. Therefore, I will never stay there again and will make sure everybody I know steers clear as well.
