“Excellent Value & Location”
If you are looking for value and a great location look no further than this small friendly hotel. Breakfast was limited but plentiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bedroom was small but perfectly adequate We didn't go on holiday to stay in our room so for us it was fine. If you are on a budget then this could be just the hotel for you.

This hotel is a great value for the location. The staff is very friendly, and the continental breakfast is a great bonus. The only downside is that the beds are not very comfortable. However, I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, and would definately stay here again.
“Two years in a row now!”
My daughter and I have come to San Francisco for spring break for two years now. The first year we chose the Stratford from the internet but this we chose it because we had such a positive stay the year before. We were not disappointed! The room is fairly compact but very sound-proof and very clean! We really enjoy looking over the action on Powell Street! We will go for a third time if the opportunity arises!
“Perfect location and great services.”
The location of Hotel Stratford, San Franccisco is perfect. A cable car stop is right outside the hotel front door and you can hop on the cable car right away to see the city. The room is exceptionally clean and nice. Free HBO and complimentary continental breakfast--with excellent coffee to warm up your day. I will definitely choose Hotel Stratford when I visit San Francisco again. Just one suggestion: it would be excellent if this hotel can provide free wifi to its guests which will come in handy for business travelers.

The Stratford is in a great location only half a block from Union Square. Looks like a pretty safe neighborhood, too. The only thing was that our room was tiny, but for the price, location, and free breakfast, we would definitely stay there again!

Hotel is situated in the heart of San Francisco, with Union Square just a few steps away so it is very convenient getting around. Rooms are a bit too small, but they are equipped with most of the things travellers need.
