“Wonderful hotel”
Loved the hotel. Room was awesome, only 1 downside was no coffee making facilities would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room. Bathroom was amazing. Staff very helpful and attentive. One thing we did find strange was we asked at the concierge desk how to get to highway 1 to start our coastal trip and the guy said we would only be able to go so far as part of the road was washed out. On the map he showed us it meant we could only get to Carmel!! he said it washed away 2 years ago and hadn't been repaired, as it turned out it was fully open, perhaps they should keep abreast of the current situations, I'm sure a lot of visitors will be looking to do the same trip. Otherwise they were very helpful. Thought the charge for wifi was a rip off so went across the road to try free wifi at Starbucks, it was closed but you can get access when you are in the pub next door. As an fyi - pub food was awful so wouldnt waste you money.
“Highly recommend.”
Wonderful, highly recommended hotel. Couldn't have been happier for my first visit to SF.
“Great Easter Weekend in SF”
Suberb! Great room with a beautiful view. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Excellent hotel staff and valet staff. Thank you Expedia. Superb experience.
“Excellent - would certainly go back and recommend!”
We thought this hotel was excellent and suited our needs perfectly. After arriving at 6am, we were allowed to check in early free of charge. The room was fantastic; clean, comfortable and well kept, with a great view of the bay. Staff were helpful and polite and the concierge staff were among the best I've experienced - particularly Laura, I think her name was, who became our personal San Francisco city guide. All staff were extremely knowledgeable and happy to help. The location was good too, only a few minutes walk from all forms of public transport (so really easy to get around the city) Ferry Terminal, shops and restaurants etc. We really liked the idea of being able to refuse housekeeping in return for vouchers for breakfast. Given that we were only in the hotel for a few days not having housekeeping for a couple of them made no difference at all. A great idea! All in all we thought this was a great hotel, and the price was extremely reasonable too.
“Stay here in SF.”
My stay at the Le Meridien in San Francisco was outstanding! The room was very clean, spacious, quiet, well appointed and had an awesome view of the bay. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night sleep. As nice as the room was,the staff was more impressive. Wake up call from a pleasant human not an electronic recording is a nice touch. Consierge suggested some delicious restaurants. Definitely will stay here again. Also walking distance to waterfront activities a plus.
“Most enjoyable break”
Hotel location excellent. Room very roomy, very nice decor. Tea/coofee was not provided in the romm but on request a coffee maker was provided.Service by hotel staff was xcellant. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to others.
“Great Hotel”
This was our first visit to Le Meridien. The location is fantastic and close to shopping and eatieries. The staff was very pleasent and hospitable towards my wife and I. The room was very clean and well decorated. I really appreciated the white down comforter which I think more hotels need to consider. There was no question the bedding was clean and fresh. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends or anyone else who would like to stay in San Francisco away from the noise of Union Square and Market Street.
“Excellent hotel.”
Excellent hotel, room was very spacious and came with all the necessary facilities. The lobby, restaurant and other areas of the hotel had a great atmosphere and the staff were always very helpful. Highly recommended.
“suited us well”
Le Meridien suited us very well - room was spacious and tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed and furnishings. The hotel was in a good location for the things we wanted to do in San Francisco
“Creme de la Creme.”
Clean, comfortable, courteous, beautiful and location, location, location
