The Fairmont San Francisco has two restaurants, including a fine-dining restaurant and lounge adjacent to the lobby, and a tropical tiki lounge with an island in the middle of a pool, live music, and dancing.

Laurel Court - Serveing award-winning regional cuisine for breakfast and lunch daily. On Saturday and Sunday, guests can experience San Francisco's finest afternoon tea service in this elegant restaurant.
Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar - A tropical destination famous for its dynamic thunder and rainstorms. Features superb Pacific Rim cuisine, exotic drinks, and dancing Wednesday through Sunday.
Cafe Cento - Offering homemade pastries, Tuscan-style sandwiches, and a tantalizing array of salads with a view of the city's iconic cable cars as they pass by the landmark hotel. The charming café serves the celebrated coffee of illy and offers a delicious selection of San Francisco's famous Ghirardelli chocolates.
Recreation
Club One, on the hotel's terrace level, is a health club and fitness center available to hotel guests at a discounted rate. It has weights and cardio equipment, saunas, and steam rooms, and offers aerobics, spinning, and yoga classes, as well as massage.
A children's playground–one of very few found in the city center–is located in Huntington Park, one block from the hotel. The residential Nob Hill area that surrounds the hotel is suitable for running; the hotel concierge can assist with route planning. Several public-play golf courses in San Francisco include Presidio (three miles away) and Lincoln Park (five miles). Ocean beaches are located six miles west of the hotel.
San Francisco is a hilly town, but largely bicycle friendly, and many visitors enjoy riding rented bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge, five miles from the hotel. Guests can return the same way or put their bikes on passenger ferries departing from the town of Sausalito across the bay and travel back by water to the recently restored Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, one mile from the hotel.

“Beautiful Hotel”
Staying here was an experience, and a fantastic one. Yes it's pricy, but a bit of luxury every now and then is good for you. I highly enjoyed our time here!

To quote my husband in the note he left for housekeeping (with the tip): we love the Fairmont, top to bottom. beginning with the concierge (who upgraded our room without prompting) and lasting until he checked us out the next morning, it was a grand experience. we love the history of the hotel, the grandeur, and mostly the staff - all were so warm & even humorous. just a beautiful place. we shall return.

We stayed in a room in the towers of the Fairmont Hotel. The room was nicely appointed. The view was exquisite. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very helpful front desk, concierge services, garage and other staff. Hotel is in good shape and in a superb location. Have stayed in a few Fairmont hotels in the US and abroad and they continue to impress.

The hotel was great! couldn't have asked for a better location or views of San Francisco! the cable car stops are right outside of the hotel making it very easy to get around. We really didn't know much about SF before we left and we truly felt that we couldn't have lucked out more. Hotel staff was very knowledgeable and approachable. Our experience wouldn't have been as positive if not for their suggestions and guidance.

“History and Charm at the Fairmont San Francisco.”
The Fairmont San Francisco is a stately and historic hotel at the top of Nob Hill with lovely views and a central location. My wife and I stayed in a queen room with our five month old daughter. The hotel arranged for a nice crib to be brought up and the three of us were fairly comfortable. The staff at the hotel was all very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. Parking at the hotel, while expensive, was very efficient. The rooftop garden is certainly a tranquil spot that should definitely not be missed. Overall, we would definitely stay at the Fairmont again.

I visit San Francisco twice a year on business. After staying at most of the other big chain hotels, I now only stay at The Fairmont. Their service and hospitality is wonderful. I also like the location, not too far from Union Square without the hustle and buslte. I will continue to stay there on future trips. I also prefer the tower rooms with the view.
