“great hotel”
Great place, but a little slow in checking in and getting my luggage because of a huge rush. But overall i love the location, its close to everything, shops, offices, and great restaurants. The service was very good and very friendly. The room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for my next stay.
“Trade Show Heaven”
Great location for Moscone trade shows! Staff was realy vague on parking locations when I called twice listing Valet as only choice... there is a City lot directly across the street for $23 for 24 hours and another lot behind hotel neither could be missed by staff. Overall a nice stay.
“Nice hotel”
Overall, rate the hotel as a 5. Only 4 was with room comfort...room was a little warm for our taste and the A/C didn't seem to want to kick on. It was also really dry in the room. Again, that was our personal opinion. Room was cleaned early every morning. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel is convenient to many attactions, restaurants, and transit (F line, cable cars, BART, Muni all close by). Took F line to the Wharf several times. Breakfast buffet expensive, so chose one of several breakfast establishments close by (within 2 blocks). Parking VERY expensive...saved 50% by parking at Jessie Square behind the hotel. Actually more convenient than valet, but no in-and-out privaleges. You really don't need a car, but we like to do a lot of adhoc touring. Visit Muir Woods...well worth it if you like the outdoors!
“Left my heart in San Francisco.”
Great hotel, located close to many of San Francisco's attractions. It was a few block away from the Tenderloins. If I did not go in that direction I would have never know it was there. I did walk several blocks through the area. If you have ever walked through some parts of Brooklyn or The Bronx, it's very similar (not bad at all). The hotel loby had a stand with hot tea, water and fruit for the guests. It was very pleasant after walking the mountainous terrain in San Fran. The Concierge was amazing. They knew all the great restaurants and bars to go to. Not the typical touristy place, but the true authentic San Fran.
“Gr8 experience”
Had a nice time
“I will definitely stay there again”
I loved the view and big fluffy bed
“great hotel”
great hotel! seriously. straight boss. in the center of downtwn, short cab rides to all districts and its really really nice...
“San Francisco comfort”
extremely comfortable bed and the room was spacious.
“Great value, great view”
This was our first time at the Westin. We go to San Francisco several times a year. The Westin more than exceeded our expectations.
“Walk and Shop!”
We visited San Francisco twice in a three month period. The 2nd time we stayed at the Westin on Market Street. This location was prime! We were within walking distance of Union Square (downtown) and never walked too far to catch a bus or trolley. The hotel was what we expected for a Westin; clean rooms and excellent hotel service. We had the queen double bed room and it was very cozy even though it wasn't a suite. If I had a complaint, it would be that after the first night there, we fell short on full bath towels (we were a party of four). But that's trivial, really. Check-out was a breeze. If you are looking for nice accommodations, we recommend this hotel and location. We will definitely keep this Westin in mind for future visits.
