Set in the midst of Silicon Valley's tech corridor, the Wild Palms Hotel is five miles from the Santa Clara Convention Center and nine miles from downtown San Jose.
The bright, Mediterranean-style Sunnyvale hotel features two courtyards and a pool area with cabanas and a spa tub. A small fitness center is also on site.
Complimentary Continental breakfast with pastries, waffles, cereal, and yogurt is provided each morning, and complimentary newspapers and coffee are available in the lobby.
Just off the colorful lobby, a business center provides complimentary high-speed Internet access and printing.
Rooms
The Wild Palms has 208 guestrooms in a two-story building with access via exterior corridors (no elevators). Rooms have bright, Mediterranean-inspired decor and canopy beds with down comforters (bedspreads). Adjoining rooms are available.
Amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, multi-line cordless phones with complimentary local calls, HBO, and video games (surcharge). Bathrooms have showers only.
Deluxe rooms also provide complimentary wired high-speed Internet access, stereos with CD players, bathrobes, and Lather toiletries.

“Very Nice.”
Great hotel for the price. I would recommend this hotel. Great breakfast.

Very quiet and nice location. View from our room was like being on an island getaway. No kidding. Would recommend to anyone.
“Would definately go back”
My husband and I visited this hotel with our 2 kids during spring break, April 2009. The hotel grounds were beautiful and kept very clean. The pool is heated for swimming during the cooler months and the beds were very comfortable. The room we had was a bit small but we made it work. The "extended breakfast" was nothing more than a continental breakfast. Overall our stay was very plesant and we would definately go back.

For the rate I paid, I would have happily spend more to stay here. The place was clean, roomy, modern and comfy.

A very good value. The hotel was clean, comfortable and a great breakfast.
“Great Hotel; Quiet Location”
This was our second time staying at the Wild Palms. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel is pretty unique and welcoming. Continental breakfast is substantial enough to get you through until brunch/lunch. Walls are a little thin in the rooms, but the beds and pillows more than make up for it. Aside from the drunk guys next door, we had a very comfortable stay.
“Love going there!”
I have had 2 experiences with this hotel, once having a friend stay, and this last time staying there with my husband. We love the ambiance, and the room is so much more comfortable than the average hotel room! The bed is soft - it may be a pillow-top, and the sheets are wonderful. I can't say enough about it. It is my favorite place to go if I need a night away from our house and daily life!
“Loved it”
It has great atmosphere, I loved my room; they have it well set up. The staff were great, even talking me to the hotel on my cell after I took a wrong turn. The rooms are wired for internet, wireless and highspeed. All in all, it's well worth it, and if I go back to the San Jose area, it's my new number one choice for accomadations.
