"This is a nice, clean, friendly local hotel. They do not provide daily cleaning services. Room was large and kitchen was a nice feature. Carpets could use a cleaning...the location is great...everything is pretty much walking distance. Also, if you want fresh towels and trash emptied you have to request it. We enjoy our stay."
"We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort of personal touch. Fresh cookies/pastries or hot chocolate/coffee. We felt a little like an imposition than a welcome guest.
Other than that, the property was unique and fun, the rooms were clean. The grounds were nice and the view beautiful,"
