“Last minute booking”
I booked the room at the last minute as a convenience of attending my daughter's wedding. Upon arrival, I went to the front desk and advised the desk clerk of my name and immediately received my room keys without any delay or further check in. The room was clean, neat, and perfectly suited our needs. The staff was very polite and the parking was very convenient. Having had spent many nights in hotels over the years, I felt this stay rated among the best places so far.
“Happy but yet Unhappy”
Great rooms, VERY CLEAN, I was promised a COT was I arrived, but did not have one there, and there was also a $10.00 charge for it. I got in late so it was very inconvenient.

“Noisy Air Con”
Air conditioner is quite noisy. Bad for summer days. I guess. Recommend for both business and leisure stay.
“LOVE Hampton Inns!!”
Staff: 100%!! I had brought bills to pay during my stay, and discovered to my horror that one was due the next day! I asked Kristina at the front desk if there was a computer available so I could pay online, and she directed me right to one. She also called up to the room early in the evening to see if the room was okay and if we needed anything. She also had fresh baked cookies ready right after we checked in.
“Smoke odor in the room”
As I am compelled to visit Sanford with some frequency, I have settled on the Hampton Inn as the least bad motel. The motel has recently been redecorated and looks better as a consequence, but it has a serious problem with ventilation. My room was in a supposedly totally non-smoking zone, but at various times during my stay the room and especially the bathroom smelled as if someone was actively smoking. In the future I plan to stay elsewhere.
