“Nice stay”
Good area close to beach and grat sea food restaurants.
“Really comfy nice hotel”
Guest ratings means so much more than star rating. This is a 2.5 star hotel and is really awesome.
“Charming and comfy”
I was impressed with how nice this hotel is. It was clean, pretty, peaceful, and charming. The staff was very nice and gave us a free appetizer voucher for a nearby restaurant and a Santa Barbara guide. I got the room right in front of the pool, which was very convenient. And the bathroom and mirrors are awesome.
“A gem in Santa Barbara...”
This is an amazing hotel...so warm and cozy. We loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies in the evening. We even had a bottle of champagne in our room. Our room was big and the bed fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was very nice...this is now our favorite hotel in Santa Barbara!
“Colonial Stay”
This was a cute hotel that had a great continental breakfast. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.
“Quiet hotel near the harbor”
Our room was quite large and had comfortable beds. I worried a bit about traffic, but it was very light, so the hotel was quiet.
“Surprisingly nice”
We arrived early and the staff made sure a room was ready with our requirements. The room was setback from the road which eliminated any noise. The staff was friendly and helpful when querried about restaurants and how to get to the Santa Barbara Bowl. Al-in-all a terrific find.
“Convenience, Comfort, and Character”
Though this inn looks like a typical generic motel, it is anything but typical. The lavender accessories, the delightfully decorated rooms, the cookies and also breakfast that you can eat outside on a patio are delightful.

We totally enjoyed everything about our stay at the Lavender Inn! The staff was always helpful and pleasant. The rooms were very nice and recently remodeled. The tile bathrooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was always very good and had lots of choices. Wine & cheese in the late afternoon and cookies & milk in the evenings were wonderful too! The pool and hot tub were always clean. We were close to the beach and The Wharf and State Street too, We are very happy with the price we paid when we booked both flight and hotel through Expedia! We are VERY satisfied!!!
“Real value in Santa Barbara”
Older hotel but well maintained;very comfortable room, close to the waterfront. Some traffic noise.
