“impressed!!”
I like this hotel. Very nice and brand new. Certainly will book again..
“Worth the distance”
Yes, this hotel is NOT close to the downtown SF action. So what? It is clean, comfortable, VERY affordable and within walking distance of some fine restaurants, stores and the grocery store. You want to get somewhere, you drive - as you would even if you were in a downtown expensive property. And the wireless internet worked great and the non-smoking room smelled good and clean and fresh. With the fridge and microwave, you'd save on food costs too. Only downside - the breakfast offered is limited, unimaginative and on the unhealthy side.
“Clean, Comfortable, Reasonably Priced”
Quite satisfactory; bed was comfortable, room was quiet and generously sized. Pleasant surrounding, recently remodeled. Good staff was patient with late departures. Next to bus stop, very convenient transportation dropped us off two block from the Plaza. We'll stay there next time we're in Santa Fe.
“Will stay here again.”
Clean, easy to find, quick access to main rodas. Will stay here again.
“Good deal!!”
The room was large and clean. We stayed there for a week and was very satisfied with the housekeeping service. The microwave and small refrigerator were added bonuses.
“Good Bet for the price”
Value for every $.
“Simple comfort, good price”
I was very happy with Budget Host. It was clean and comfortable and with free Internet, a great value. My only complaint was that is was a long ways from the action of old Santa Fe.
“Price was main draw”
Not as nice as neighbor motels. Appears old and run-down because the are has a lot of new construction. However, it was clean and in good repair. Thought continental breakfast was included, but we never saw it.
“You get what you pay for”
The title says it all. I asked for a cheap place to stay and I got it. My room was at the absolute end of the hall on the second floor. The only access I was informed of was via a long stairwell of minimum legal width. I'm sure there is an elevator somewhere or there would not have been a building/business permit issued. Parking was at a premium and I had a tight space even for my little Toyota Pickup. The office chair had a broken wheel that had been put back under the chair with the broken pieces no where to be found. The table lamp was broken and fell over when I tried to adjust it. My main complaint was the smoke detector chirped when ever the heater was running. I eventually turned the heater off as I needed the sleep more than I needed the heat. I took the broken wheel to the counter on my way out and let them know about the rest. With all of this, I still rated the hotel as average due to the room being clean and exactly what I paid for. I think I just drew a bad room.
“Good bed for sleeping”
It was a good room for what we needed which was a bed to sleep in for one night.
